32-family dinner

-Jared P.O.V-

"Jared Montenegro!"

We all looked at her. Nasa court kasi kami ngayon at naglalaro ng basketball. She look at me furiously. Geez! Look like I have to deal with a dragon now. Umalis kasi ako ng isang linggo nang hindi nagpapaalam sa kanya. Her hands on her waist as she stop in front me.

"Hi babe!"

*Slap*

"Why did you left without telling me? I'm starting to think negative not knowing what happened to you!"

"Sorry babe. Emergency ei."

"Whatever it is you should let me know! Para akong tanga ei."

"I'm really sorry babe."

I hug her tight. I gasped when I heard a sob from her. I look at her eyes and wipe away her tears.

"Why are you crying?"

"Nothing. I just missed you."

"Naks ang sweet ni Steff oh!"

"Shut up Ryan!"

"Aysus! Paniguradong miss ka rin ng mokong na yan Steff."

"You sure? Sa dami ba naman ng magagandang babae sa states."

"Your the most beautiful for me babe."

I put my arm on her shoulder and face them with a smile.

"Yun oh!"

"Lakas ng banat tol."

"Naks! Sweet!"

"Ow! Steff is blushing guys."

I look at her. Namumula nga siya.

"Shut up guys!"

"Hahahaha! Wag ka ng mahiya Steff."

"Duh! Whatever! Anyway Jared."

"Yes babe?"

"Dad invited you for a dinner tonight. Hope you don't have plans."

"Sure i'll be there."

"Great. Anyway I have to go."

She start to walk away.

"Don't I deserve a kiss babe?"

She stop and went back to me. She tiptoed and kissed me on the lips. She smiled sweetly as our lips parted.

"Bye babe."

Then she left.

"Well I guess she's really into you now Jared."

"I don't think so Ryan."

"Don't you see it dude?"

"See what?"

"The spirit of an inlove woman. She loves you dude thats for sure."

"I hope so."

I smiled watching her walk away hoping that Ryan is right. Honestly Steff change a lot. She is so sweet to me and easily get jealous when there are girls around me. But I'm afraid to jump in that conclusion. What if she's just being obsessed with me this time? She never clarify her feelings for me. I don't have plans to know too. I'm already satisfied of what we have now.

Later that night.
Nasa dining na kami at kumakain. Katabi ko si Steff sa table.

"I thought your not gonna coming hijo."

"You know I can't say no to you Tito."

"Me or my daughter?"

"Stop that daddy!"

I look at her. She just make faces and continue on eating.

"So how's your trip in the states?"

"It's good Tito. We got lucky to solve the problem before it get worst."

"I'm proud of you Jared. In such young age your able to handle your family's company."

"I was trained for this since high school Tito."

He just smiled. Nagpatuloy kami sa pagkain. This curry taste familiar.

"This one taste familiar."

"Why? Naipagluto ka na ba ni Ate Steff?"

I look at Angelie then kay Steff. Did she mean that Steff cook all of this.

"Oh right I remember. The chicken curry you brought last time Steff."

"So ikaw ang pina-"

"Shut up Angelie! Can't you stop yourself on talking?!"

"Sorry."

"Whatever!"

After dinner Steff went straight to her room. While I stay and talk to the others. Nalaman ko rin kay Angelie na nagpaturo si Steff sa Mama niya ng pagluluto. That explains why she had those bandaids on her hand last time. Angelie also told me that Steff wake up so early to cook the chicken curry she brought.

"Babe?"

I open the door. She's busy on her laptop. I sat beside her. She looked at me then put the laptop on the side table. I patted my lap and she's smiling obey me. I was leaning on the headboard of her bed as she wrapped her arms around my neck. Then she buried her face on my neck while slightly kissing it.

"You know your turning me on by doing that babe."

"Why? What did I do?"

She ask innocently as she ran her fingers down to my chest. I groan in frustration. Darn! She's teasing me that much. She gasp then bite her lips while looking at me. I know she feel it that why she keep in teasing me.

"Did you lock my door Mr. Montenegro?"

"Yeah!"

She smiled sweetly and kissed me. I was about to pull of her blouse when she push me away.

"What?"

"I'm sorry babe we're just going to sleep."

I groan. She just giggled and lay down in the bed. Napangiti na lang ako saka humiga sa tabi niya. Agad naman niyang pinatong ang mukha niya sa dibdib ko saka ako tinitigan.

"Are you frustrated?"

"Sort of. But I'm satisfied having you in my arms Steff."

"Aish!"

"I love you Steff."

"I hate you Jared."

She kissed me again. Then she burry her face on my chest. But what surprise me was the words came out of her lips before drowning to sleep. And I know it hurt it inside of me.

"Thank you bestfriend."
