-Steff P.O.V-

Since that day I left his condo I never a word from him. We both avoiding each other. He's also been busy for his graduation maybe. Since his a year ahead of me.

"Hi Steff!"

"What do you want Rica?"

"Aalis na ba talaga si Jared?"

"What do you mean?"

"Oh! So hindi mo alam."

I look at her. She smiled and sat on the chair in front of me. We're on the cafeteria now.

"What do you know?"

"I heard from Ryan that he's going to the states in a month."

"Ryan?"

"Well we're dating dear. But yes, Jared is leaving in a month."

"How about his graduation?"

"He's not going to attend the ceremony. He even completed his thesis and already approved."

"But why?"

"I don't know. Akala ko nga alam mo since your his girlfriend."

"We never talked since..."

"Since the big fight?"

"Yeah!"

"You can stop him if you want Steff."

She stand and left me. Why is he leaving? For the whole day I'm so disturbed and can't concentrate. I want to skipped class and find him to confirm but I can't. It's my major class. Geez!

"Jared?"

He look at me and stand then walk away. So he's really avoiding me. I followed him. He suddenly stop but didn't face me.

"Stop following me Steffanie."

"Are you really going to avoid me?"

"I need space Steff. We both need it."

Then he walk away leaving me dumbfounded. Did I hurt him that much to leave? Am I wrong?

-Angelie P.O.V-

I look at Jared as he silently watching Steff from afar. What gotten into him to avoid Steff. Lumapit ako at tumabi sa kanya.

"Kuntento ka na ba sa ginagawa mo ngayon Jared?"

"Huh?"

"I know you miss her. But why are you leaving her?"

"I had to Angelie."

"You love her right?"

"Yeah! More than my life. But she's inlove with someone else."

"And that someone else is you Jared."

"I'm not! I'm just a bestfriend for her."

"Hindi ka ba naniniwala that action speaks louder than words."

"No! Because action without words is useless. She can be sweet to anybody Angelie. There's no difference."

"Kaya ka ba aalis? Dahil hanggang ngayon hindi pa rin siya umaamin."

He look at me sorry. Well, tama nga ako.

"Ngayon ka pa ba susuko Jared? Kung kelan nasa sayo na ang atensyon niya."

"I need space to think Angelie."

Napatingin kami pareho sa taong nasa harap namin. Aalis na sana si Jared ng hinawakan niya ang kamay nito.

"Do you really want to go Jared?"

"I had to."

"Why?"

"My parents want me to be there. I can't say no to them."

"Lier! I've talked to them. Mama told me that it's your decicsion."

"I have to go Steff."

He slowly pulled his hand from Steff's grip. He look at us and start to walk away.

"Would you stay if I ask you to stay?"

"I made up my mind already."

"What should I do to make you stay?"

"Nothing."

Then he left. I hug Steff as she look at me. The truth is Steff was silently crying on her room. She is really hurt on Jared's leaving.

"When did you tell him how much you love him?"

"I don't know."

Lumayo siya sa akin saka umalis. Hays! Bakit ba kasi pinili nilang masaktan kung pwedi naman silang sumaya. I really don't get them. Why spacing out with each other if they both trully inlove?
