16-Her sweet knight

-Steff P.O.V-

Tahimik akong kumakain ng dumating sila. I look at them both.

"What are you doing?"

"Sasabayan ka sa pagkain ate Steff."

"I don't need your presence to eat my food Angelie!"

"I know."

She just smiled and start eating. Damn this girl! Hindi ba sya marunong makiramdam. It's so fucking awkward. Nagpatuloy na lang ako sa pagkain.

"Oh look who's here? The ex and the new couple."

I look at her. She gave a devious smile. Duh! As if I'm afraid of her. I start playing my food while controlling myself.

"What do you need?"

"Ikaw ata ang may kailangan Steff? You need a boyfriend!"

"Really? I can have anyone I want Cassy. Even your boyfriend."

Her eyes widened. I smirked and stand to face her.

"Don't act strong Steff. We all know your hurt and crying inside girl."

"You sure Cassy?"

"How does it feel to be alone? Masakit ba maagaw ang dapat sayo Steffanie Xavier?"

"Your pissing me off bitch!"

"Ate wag!"

"Stay away here!"

Tinulak ko siya saka hinablot ang buhok ni Cassy.

"Listen Cassy, I never lost something. Clark is just a passerby darling."

She hold my wrist on her hair while looking at me intently.

"Really? You cried for him right?"

"Because he stepped on my pride darling. Just a fucking pride!"

Napatingin ako kay Clark. Nagulat siya sa sinabi ko. Duh!

"Hahaha! Kawawa ka naman Steff."

"I'm not Bitch! It's you!"

"Aray!"

Diniinan ko ang pagkakahawak ko sa buhok niya. I look at my food and smiled.

"What are you planning?"

"Sayang ang pagkain eh! It's all yours bitch!"

I rub her face on the plate. Geez! Gutom pa naman ako.

"Bitch! Let go of my hair!"

"Yuck! Your so gross Cassy. You need to wash out."

"Kasalana-"

Tinapon ko sa mukha niya ang fruit shake ko.

"Aren't you gonna help me?"

Napatingin ako sa mga nagsilapitan.

"Really Cassy? A bunch of jerks?"

"Of course Steff. Hawakan niyo siya!"

They both hold my hand. Damn it! Wala akong laban sa mga damuhong ito. She smirked and grab the plate on the table.

"Ready bitch?"

"Fuck you!"

Napapikit ako ng akma niyang itapon ang plato sa mukha ko. But minute passed and nothing happened. Tumahimik din ang paligid. I slowly open my eyes only to find Jared standing in front of me. When did he got here? His glared frightened me. Napakaitim ng aura niya.

"Jared?"

"Let her go!"

"Wag kang makialam dito Jared!"

"SHUT UP CASSY! LET HER GO!"

The moment they let go of my arms his fist reach their faces. Oh my God! The two guys are both on the floor after receiving each punch from Jared.

"What are you doing Jared?"

Tumabi sa akin si Jared saka tiningnan si Cassy. I smiled at her.

"Have you forgot Cassy that I have my knight?"

"Your a bitch. Hindi pa tayo tapos!"

Lumapit ako sa kanya. Binigyan ko siya ng mapang asar na ngiti.

"Maghihintay ako Cassy!"

Napatigil siya. Ngumiti ako saka nagsimulang maglakad. Sumunod naman si Jared. I look at him. He just watching me seriously. Dumiretso kami sa locker ng basketball team. Pumasok siya sa loob ng isang cr habang naiiwan ako sa labas.

"Jared?"

"Yeah?"

"Thanks. You don't have to do that. I can handle her."

"I'm your knight right."

"Your my friend Jared. Ayaw kitang madamay."

"It feels weird when you talk tagalog."

"Why?"

Tiningnan ko siya. Nakabihis na siya. He smiled and put his arms on my shoulder. Saka kami naglakad palabas.

"It's creepier babe. Nakaka-panindig balahibo."

"Talaga?"

I fold my arms as I stop and smiled at him teasingly. He just pinch my nose and smiled.

"Yeah! But I love that kind of Steff."

He wink that made me stiffened. He chuckled and drag me out of the school.

"Where are you going to take me?

"A lunch date."

"Why?"

"I saw how frustrated are you with the food on Cassy's face. And I bet your still hungry."

"Yeah! She just ruin my mood."

"That's why we're going to a lunch date princess."

Ginulo niya ang buhok ko saka pinagbuksan ng kotse. Geez! I look at him as he drive. Why is he like this?

"What are you staring at?"

"Your so unbelievable Jared."

"Why?"

"I don't know. You really amuse me."

"Tsk! What kind of bestfriend are you if you don't know?"

"Hey I know you man! It's just sometimes I don't know what got into you."

"You do really know me?"

He made a glance at me before looking back at the road.

"Yeah! An asshole jerk!"

"Ouch! That hurts you know."

I look at him as he park tha car on a restaurant. He look at me with hurt.

"Ang taong ayaw kong mawala sa buhay ko."

He smiled and patted my head. Bumaba siya saka ako pinagbuksan ng pinto. Nauna na akong maglakad.

"Steff?"

I look back to him. He stop in front of me.

"Your not going to lose me."

Napatulala ako sa kanya. He smiled and grab my hands and entertwined with his. I look at our hands as he pulled me inside. What is this feeling? Why it felt so right? His hands on mine feels so warm and right. I look at his back as he search for a place. What did you do to me Jared?
