21-A new start

-Steff P.O.V-

I slowly rub my eyes as I woke up on that morning. Geez! I'm still in pain on what happened last night. I look at my side. He's not there anymore. I grab my underwear and went outside. Damn it! It really hurts down there. I found him on the kitchen cooking. I lean on the door while watching him. What happened last night was not a mistake. I know it's not just my virginity he take away from me. It's more than that. He look at me. I feel embarrassed remembering I'm just wearing his shirt.

"Good morning. Breakfast?"

"Sure."

Umupo ako saka kami kumain. I felt him giving me glances.

"What is it Jared?"

"About last ni-"

"Let's not talk about it."

"But?"

"Can we pretend nothing happened between us?"

"I can't!"

I look at him as he tighten his grip on his spoon. I sigh. He got it the wrong way. I got up, hold his hand and sat on his lap. He gasp. I don't care if I'm just wearing his shirt and an underwear. He gulp many times. I put my arms around his neck and bury my face on it.

"Steff?"

"Can we stay like this?"

He hug me back. I feel so safe on his arms. I don't want to let go but I'm afraid of it. I don't like this feeling.

"Will you hold me forever Jared?"

I look at his eyes. His hands on my waist. No words coming out of him. I smiled and give him a peck on the lips.

"Forget it! I'm going to take a rest."

Umalis ako saka nagkulong sa kwarto niya. What we're you thinking Steffanie? Hays!
I look around after taking a shower. A white box catch my attention. I grab it and open. My eyes widened. A lot of my stolen pictures. Dried roses. And love notes. My tears start to flow. He's hiding this things for almost 2 years. How long did he really love me secretly?

"Steff you ready to go?"

I dried my tears and look at him. Napatingin siya sa hawak ko. His looks softened then sat beside me.

"I always wanted to give you all of that. But I can't."

"Jared?"

"Such a jerk of me right? You can have that if you want."

"Why did you love me Jared?"

"What do you mean?"

"I'm a brat and bitch. You can have anyone you want but why me?"

"I love you for who you are Steff. I love your imperfections babe."

He wink that made me blush. Geez! Will he stop doing that?

"Aw! My baby is blushing."

"Shut up!"

I put down the box and left him. I heard him laugh as he follow me outside.

"C'mon babe. Don't feel embarrassed. I've seen all of you."

"Fuck you Jared! Stop teasing me!"

"Hahaha! Why? Your cute when your blushing!"

"Argh! Just shut up okay."

Lumabas na ako ng unit niya saka padabog na naglakad. Geez! What a jerk!

"Babe don't leave me!"

Umakbay siya sa akin. Agad ko naman siyang siniko.

"Tse!"

"Ouch! That hurts you know."

"Whatever! Saan ba tayo pupunta?"

"I don't know."

"What? Are you asking me out then you don't have plan."

"Well I'm thinking about naughty things."

"Oh shut up! I'm still sore.."

"So your willing?"

He smiled at me teasingly. I feel my face getting red. I close my eyes trying to control. But it's no use.

"Jaaareeeed!"

But he already run away while laughing. I glared at him as he walking backwards while looking at me.

" I hate you Jared!"

"I love you too babe!"

He send a flying kiss then wink at me. Umayos na rin siya ng lakad. I watch him walk. A smile form on my lips. He never fails to make me smile.

"Stop dreaming about me Steff."

"I'm not!"

"Really? Your smiling like an idiot."

"Fuck you Jared!"

"I would love to babe."

"Argh! Jerk!"

"Hahaha! That's why I love you."

Ginulo niya ang buhok ko saka pinagbuksan ng pinto. Napatitig lang ako sa kanya.

"Alam kong gwapo ako Steff wag mong ipahalata masyado."

"Hmpt!"

Sumakay na lang ako ng nakabusangot. Ngumiti siyang pumasok sa kotse saka nagdrive. Nagulat na lang ako ng inabot niya ang kamay ko at hindi na binitawan. He smiled at me. Ngumiti na lang rin ako. I know there's a big risk on what we have now. I hope we won't end up hurting each other.
