38-Leaving

-Steff P.O.V-

After I left the airport I locked myself and cried. I really lose him. They all keep knocking on my door but ignored them. It really hurt inside. After that night I pack up my things and decided to stay in tagaytay. I want a peace of mind.

I left the house early in the morning. Dumiretso ako sa bahay niya.

"Why so early girl? I'm still sleeping."

"I don't care!"

"Why are you here?"

"I will stop attending school from now on."

"And then?"

"Spread a humor that I'm pregnant."

"What? Are you pregnant?"

"Just do what I say Rica!"

I gasp when she hug me. A tears flow from eyes again.

"You know I also care for you Steff."

"He gave up on me Rica. He got tired."

"Jared never get tired of you Steff. He loves you so much."

"But why did he left me?"

Bigla niya akong pinitik sa noo. Naalala ko tuloy si Jared.

"Do you think he would survive a day without seeing you?"

"He can't resist you Steff. That jerk is fucking madly inlove with you."

"Just believe on him girl. Babalik din siya."

"Just do the favor I ask."

I smiled and wipe away my tears. Tumayo ako saka nagpaalam at dumiretso sa tagaytay.

-Angelie P.O.V.-

We all worried knowing Steff left the house. We tried to call her but she didn't answer it. It's been a week since she left.

"Hon your good?"

"I don't know Clark. Where do you think she go?"

"I thought Tito Eric already know where is she."

"Yeah! But we still don't sure of it."

Pareho kaming napatingin nang tumunog ang cellphone namin pareho. It's the school link again.

"Pregnancy stop her attending her classes. Fake news or Real one?"

It's Steff in the picture. What the hell did Rica is thinking now?

"I'm sure it's a fake one."

"Where are you going Angelie?"

"I'm going to find Rica."

Saka ako tumayo saka hinanap si Rica. Nang makita ko siya ay agad ko siyang kinausap.

"Rica!"

"Oh hi Angelie, hi Clark."

"What we're you thinking? Why did you post that?"

"Why? It's a humor that I've heard. I'm just making it a real scoop."

"You should tell us the truth Rica."

"Fine!"

She sighed and became seriously.

"She asked me to do that."

"Why?"

"I don't know. She must be really hurt."

"Do you know where is she?"

"No."

Bakit Ate Steff? What we're you thinking? Suddenly Clark phone rang.

"Who's that?"

"Jared."

Agad naman niyang sinagot.

"Hello dude. Kumusta ka?...It's just a humor... We don't know if she's really is... Steff is out of touch. We don't know where is she... Yeah! Umalis siya after you left... I understand dude... Are you coming back? She's really hurt Jared.... I'm looking forward for that... Yeah! Bye."

"What did he say? Babalik ba siya?"

"I don't know. But knowing Jared, hindi niya matitiis si Steff."

"I'm done here. Gotta go."

Saka siya umalis. After class ay umuwi agad kami. We're still hoping that we can have any news about Steff.

"Goodevening Ma, Tito."

"Have you find her Tito?"

"There's someone who had seen her in Tagaytay. Maybe we should check her on saturday."

"Can I come?"

"Of course Clark."

"Do you think she's fine Tito?"

"Let's hope for it Angelie. I know she's already grown up but she's still my princess."

"Eric?"

"I made her feel alone when her Mom died. But I love her."

"She loves you too Eric. Don't blame yourself."

Niyakap siya ni Mama. I really hope she will be fine. Hinatid ko na si Clark sa labas.

"Don't worry hon Steff is a strong woman."

"I know. But I can't help myself to worry."

"Cheer up. Makikita din natin siya sa Sabado."

I smiled at him. He kissed me and bid goodbye. Pumasok na rin ako. I can't wait to see Steff on Saturday.
