Sarah's POV
(A/N This is written as if it was before (and leading up to) Sarah or "Sparkly", walking into the Man Cave)

Falling from that tree hurt. Like a lot. I rub my head, and feel that there's a small bump there now. Great, just great, I think to myself.

So I saw Henry become Kid Danger. I was right. I'm not sure that's a good thing though. The deal was I wouldn't find out who they were, and they wouldn't find out about me. And I guess that guy, who I think I heard Henry call "Ray", is Captain Man. It would make the most sense—all things considered.

I can't believe I figured it out. But now I start worry about what I'm going to do. I can't tell them I know, since they'll want to know who I am. Another thought hits me, it could get worse. They could want to erase my mind. I shiver; that's not a very comforting idea.

My watch starts beeping so I turn the alarm off, I'm very thankful that it has a 'mute' button. I know that I need to get to Junk 'N Stuff ASAP so I pull out my gum, and pop the top of the container open.

I hear a branch snap behind me. I'm not alone. I freeze, and swear under my breath.
"Sarah? What are you doing here? And where'd you get that gum?" Charlotte's voice asks. I turn around slowly.
"Hey Charlotte," I say sheepishly. I start to panic. I don't know what to do.
"Sarah, seriously, where did you get that gum? And were you in the tree?" Charlotte's tone has changed to one of a frantic, panicking person.

"A friend, why?" I try to keep my voice level and calm. I avoid the tree question.
"Was it Henry?" Charlotte seems worried.
"No. Why would Henry give this to me?"
"Oh, uh. No reason," she says quickly.

My watch starts beeping again. I feel my face pale. "What's that?" she asks.
"Um. Nothing. Urgh, muffins?" I try. I don't even know where that came from. I hit the off switch on the alarm for the second time.

"Is that a watch? And why did a 'friend' give you that gum?" Charlotte asks. She's no longer panicked. She's now suspicious. Suddenly her eyes widen. "Did this so called 'friend', also give you the watch?" she exclaims. I cringe.
"Maybe?" I answer, in a small voice.
"Henry was right!" she practically shouts, and I immediately cringe. And not just because she's willingly giving Henry and ego boost that he does not need.

"Shush! And what are you talking about!" I'm trying to sound assertive, but it comes out as a squeak.
"You are 'Sparkly', aren't you?" It's more of a statement than a question.
"Ugh. Fine. I am. But you can't tell Henry, or Captain Man, or anybody!" I exclaim. Charlotte grinned gleefully at my admission.

"Don't worry, I won't. But were you the one in the tree? And not some other person, who might, now know our secret."
"No, it was me." I admit. I grin, embarrassed.
"So you already guessed something was up then," Charlotte says. I nod my head. "Or you were just stalking Henry like all the other lovesick girls at our school," she adds, eyeing me questioningly. I immediate frown and shake my head.

"You guys were acting weird, and there were just too many coincidences. I'm not interested in Henry like that," I explain. Charlotte nods her head in agreement. She smiles.
"I'm kind of glad it's you," she admits. I can't help it; I hug her.

"Thank you," I say as I pull away.
"One question though, how come Henry and Ray say you're so shy? I mean, when I see you normally, like at school, you're the farthest thing from it," she says, grinning. I laugh.
"It's a long story, I'll tell you later," I say. "Actually, I wanted to know, how do you know the secret?" I add.
"That's also also a long story," she answers. She's got me there.

"Wait, Henry already suspects me?" I ask—having realized what she had said earlier.
"Yes, but I didn't believe him. Neither did Ray. So don't worry, I'll be able to throw him off the scent easy enough." She winks at me and I grin in response.
"Thanks, you're the best!" I reply. My watch starts beeping again.
"You'd better go," she tells me.
"Right." I blow a bubble, wave, and run off. I'm already late, Captain Man will probably be wondering where I am. If he isn't too busy being annoyed with me. Oh boy.

Thankfully, I'm not the worst runner in the world, so it doesn't take me too long to arrive at work. Here comes that annoying elevator though. Thankfully, I learned not to scream on the way down—it always just meant that you got weird looks when you actually walk into Man Cave and I didn't like that.

The doors glide open. Henry and Ray, in their outfits, turn to stare at me.
"What? I didn't even scream!" I try to make a weak joke.

Henry's window was closed, so I don't have any idea what this little gathering is about. We were literally just here, in the Man Cave, an hour ago, fighting crime and blowing bubbles. It's a little soon to be back.

"What took you so long?" Ray says, without emotion. My stomach turns; his tone scares me.
"Um, I ran into a road block," I say. It doesn't sound that believable, but I need to say something and it's not the weakest excuse in the book. Henry rolls his eyes at me and then looks away. What's up with that? I decide I'm tired of being shy and hiding, I stare him down. He looks at me, clearly surprised by my actions. I smirk.

Wow, maybe I'm the weird one.

"Whatever the reason, this is important. The Terrific Two want to have a word with us," Captain Man says. I glance over at Kid Danger. He mouths "long story" and then gets up from the couch, to come stand beside me.

"Do I want to know about the Terrific Two?" I ask mildly. Henry elbows me. I glare at him. What on earth did he do that for?
"All you need to know is, they used to be super heroes, but now they're retired, and no one remembers them," Henry says.
I'm still glaring at him. My chest hurts from his annoying elbow. I swear, that thing is pointier than a garden gnome's hat. Stupid boys.

"Kid Danger's right. Just don't say anything, like usual, and you should be fine," Captain Man says. I cringe at the part when he mentioned how I'm usually silent. I want to change that. Let's see how they like it when I whoop they're butts, and I'm sassier than Charlotte! I'm not sure anyone could be sassier than Charlotte though. But hey, it's worth a shot!

An alert pops up on the monitors, signalling a video call.
"That's them. Don't, say, anything," Ray tells Henry and I. We nod our heads and Ray then hits a button to answer the call.
