[what if?] haikyuu babysitting{{ Reader X Various HAIKYUU}}

~•these kids aren't so bad•~

I've been doing experiments for a while now. I've made a fan smell like ice cream so when the fan turned on my room can smell like food. I've made my light turn into a disco ball so I could have cool parties.

But there's been one experiment that I haven't checked out yet. And that's turning teenagers or adults into kids again so they can relive that life. But lately I've been too caught up in school that I haven't had the time.

I'm also a volleyball manager of karasuno high. So while they were practicing I decided to bring my  equipment into the gym. Everyone stopped and stared at me for a while as I was getting set up. A few asked if I needed help but I politely declined! I didn't want none of them to get hurt in case it wouldn't work or for me to cause any troubles.

After setting it all up and finally got to work and tested a few liquids to see if anything would happen. I had tiny objects to see if they would shrink. Most did but they would turn so tiny I couldn't see them anymore.

I sweatdrop at the fact of it since I didn't want no one to shrink that small. Time went by as I still couldn't  find the right ingredients. Soon we all left to go home.

"So,how has that experiment been?" Suga asked me as we walked. It was me,suga,daichi,Hinata,and kageyama. "Not too good." I sighed and turned towards my  gadgets. "I was so looking forward to figuring this out,but thanks for trying to help anyways guys." I said cheerfully trying not to show how sad I was.

They each glanced at me then to each other and smiled"yeah,no problem." They each said together. We eventually reached my house as we said our farewells I opened the door and went towards my room.

I flopped in the bed turning toward my equipment and sighed"why didn't nothing work?" I closed my eyes as the next day came.

We were once again in the practice room as everyone was practicing I was trying to test things again. As I heard a few of them talking.

"Ah,today is better than yesterday." I then got an idea and went towards the coach "hey,coach? Can we bring everyone in a huddle I wanna ask them something!" I whispered to him as he nodded.

Everyone then came towards us as I brought out my equipment. "Alright! I want to thank everyone for trying to help me,and I think I might know a way for you all to help!" Everyone looked at me confused as I cleared my throat out of the silence.

"I want everyone to tell me what they loved about being a kid!" I shouted, everyone flenched then started to think.

"Volleyball!" Hinata shouted as I nodded.

"Um,milk?" Kageyama said which made me sweatdrop but nodded as well.

Then everyone else was commenting how they liked to play by the park. Or just being free itself. I nodded to all of their remarks and typed some things into my equipment.

I placed it down on the ground as everyone backed away. Light started to shine as we all covered our eyes. Then before I knew it.... Everyone shrank into a kid. Everyone! The coach,and even kiyoko and yachi shrank.

I looked down at everyone as they all looked up at me with their cute little angel eyes. I couldn't help but to squeal "awww,your all so adorable!" But being a kid also means they can speak cutely and clearly so I heard tsukishima 's irritated words.

"I'm not cute!" He shouted clenching his fist as I ran to him getting to his height and patted his head "of course,not.~" I said trying to copy his voice but he waved his hand at my hand pushing it off his head.

He then stomps his tiny little feet and tried to walk out "where are you going?" Yamaguchi asked him tugging on his sleeve. "Anywhere but here!" Tsuki said  still walking away "but in that body?" I replied with concern he didn't reply and instead walked off with yamaguchi behind him.

It was the most adorable thing ever!

I glanced at everyone else as I saw Hinata and kageyama arguing.( Probably about who's taller?) I saw daichi yelling at them and suga trying to calm him down. Tanaka and noya were both around yachi and kiyoko of how cute they were.

And coach ukai,well... Let's just say he was death glaring at me for what I did to him. I pouted towards him as he stumped his little feet towards me in anger.

"(Y/n)! What. Did. You. Do?!" He waved his little hand at my face which I couldn't help but to pick him up and hug him. He tried to get out of my grasp but I wouldn't budge.

Soon takeda sensei came inside yelling "guys guys, I-" he immediately stopped after seeing everyone as kids. Everyone hovered around him as he feinted. I hurriedly put ukai down and ran towards takeda.

"Takeda-sensei! Speak to me!" I tried to feel his pulse which he had one just feinted. Hinata,noya,and Tanaka poked his belly and squished his face with thier little hands.

Time went by as he finally woke back up as I have him a water bottle and sat him on a bench. "Thank you." He said trying to breath again. I smiled and scratched my cheek "so what is it again?" He stopped drinking and turned to me.

"What happened here?! Nevermind what I was about to say what did you do?!" He yelled as everyone came near us.

"I might of accidentally,kinda sort of, turned them all into little kids again?!" I closed my eyes getting ready for a punishment but I opened them back when I didn't hear a word.

He pushed his glasses up and turned towards everyone"I see,so since your all kids you can't go to a practice match with aoba johsai this week considering you can't play in this position." Everyone immediately awed while others were about to cry.

"No! We can,we just got to think bigger!" Daichi said as everyone glanced at him confused he turned to them. "Face it guys we can't play,but that doesn't mean we can't try! Now let's go karasuno-"

"Fight!" Everyone raised their tiny fist and daichi turned back to us "so,can we?" I looked towards takeda as he crossed and arms pushing his glasses up in thought.

".... alright,but only if you can! I want you all to practice in your tiny bodies for now,and get used to it all. Ok!" Everyone nodded as daichi told everyone to start practicing.

I sighed in relief being glad it's not because of me that they can't play. Even though they can't it'd still be fun to watch them try!

A/n hi everyone! Thank you all for reading this. This is my  first ever story and especially of karasuno or haikyuu! Some of you may wonder what gave me this idea? Well,one I truly love haikyuu and all of it's characters. Two I always wondered how it would be if they  were kids again. And three, I've seen a couple of fandoms of haikyuu and most were kids or babysitting ones so I got inspired by that stuff.

This story could take long to update since most of the time I'll probably be at school or  busy. But thanks for reading.
