The colourful lights flashed back and forth Lysandra's face as she stood in front of the merry-go-round, her lips split up into a huge grin. She was right behind Kenna, in a line to get onto the roller coaster.

As she stood a few feet away from the counter, the teenager who was at it seemed to be cozying up to Theon quite deliberately, riling up his ladylove. Lysandra, for a matter of fact, observed that Kenna was quite a violent person when she was driven by strong emotions. Accordingly, she latched Laurent's arm to push him back, averting her attention away from the blinding lights which filled a sense of unknown pleasure within her and nudged Theon away from the flirting teenager.

"What would it take for you to just do your job without indulging in extraneous activities?"

"It is none of your business," the girl simpered, seeming familiar to a hawk-eyed Lysandra.

"Oh, but it does fall under my concerns when your screechy voice is murdering my sense of hearing," Lysandra bit back.

Before any more jibes were thrown at each other, Laurent stepped in, wrapping an arm around Lysandra's shoulder, earning a hard glare from her. But to that, he paid no heed as his whole attention was spent narrowing his eyes at the girl behind the glass.

"Jessica, look," he breathed, "we don't want to cause any trouble. Just give us the damn tickets and we'll be out of your hair."

"Jessamine is my name," she snapped, turning to Lysandra. "I am sure why I wanted to befriend you when I saw you at school. I'd rather die than have you, his whore, as my mate."

Lysandra jolted forward, the fire within her rising up and Laurent was quick to grab her arms and drag her away with a dirty look directed towards Jessamine. Laurent's character partly succumbed to the cliches of the infamous heartthrob holding a record of breaking hearts here and there, though not as extremely as depicted in the movies. Unfortunately, Jessamine's dear friend was among those handful of people who had served their heart and soul to the biker boy in a silver platter. Nobody was to blame, quite illicitly.

Once they were all in the seats, waiting for the ride to start, Kenna gushed, confessing that Lysandra's intrusion was quite conducive. Lysandra could offer them nothing but a small grimace, partially surprised at how welcomed she was beginning to feel in the time she spent with them.

"What did you do to piss off that daredevil though?" Laurent laughed, adjusting his seat belt.

"Nothing except ignoring her attempt to waltz into my good graces the very first day at school."

"Ah, you kept the spotlight away from Jessamine Gray," Theon chuckled. "Nicely done, Lysandra."

"Oi, Theo," Laurent alerted Theon, who then tilted his head to look at his friend. "I suggest you fasten your belt before the ride starts and you fall off of it."
