"Aaaah! Finally!" Mac exclaimed right after we finished the final touches for our presentation tomorrow. I heard Gulf sighed but I didn't bother looking at him as I was still busy saving our work on my laptop and copying it to a flash drive for a spare copy for the both of them.

It's already 10:00 pm. Good thing, Mac had bought some snacks for us to eat, or else, I'll be starving by now.

"Oh, by the way, is it okay for you not to go to the bar?" I was quite surprised when Gulf asked me that question as if we're close.

Tsk. I admit that I didn't tried to pick on him tonight. It's because I have to focus on our presentation so I had to control myself and act civil towards him. But that doesn't mean that I'm up for a casual conversation with him.

"Oh, right. I heard you're the vocalist of Thoughts at Midnight. You're the talk of the town because of your talent." Mac interjected and all I can do is shook my head because it's clearly just an exaggeration. "Aren't you supposed to play there tonight?" He asked so I sighed before stretching my neck while massaging it then removed my eyeglasses because my eyes are starting to feel a bit sore.

"Tong said that it's okay if we can't make it tonight since all of us were busy." I answered.

'And it's not as if he have a choice.'

I ejected the flash drive and closed my laptop before giving it to the two of them.

"Now we have our own copies of our presentation." I said as I stretch my arms and when I looked at Gulf, I caught him staring at me but quickly averted his eyes the moment our gazes met and I can't help but to twitch the corner of my lips.

'What's with this guy? He's been staring at me ever since I came here.'

It was then Mac's phone started ringing and he looked at the caller ID with widened eyes.

"Shit! I'm late for dinner! My mom's gonna kill me!" He exclaimed before standing up and looking at the both of us. "Sorry, guys. But I have to go! See you tomorrow! Bye!" Then he stormed out of the room before we could even say 'bye'.
