Gulf's

Tong called me and said that Mew must be in his dorm since he doesn't have any places to go so I hurried to go here.

But now that I'm standing in front of his door, I don't think if I still have enough courage left to meddle with his issues once again.

He probably wants to be alone but I don't want him to feel alone. This contemplation is draining me.

'This is now or never, Gulf.'

So I sighed before clearing my throat and lifting my fist to knock on Mew's door.

"What are you doing here?" Startled, I looked at Mew who's standing just a meter away from me. He's holding a pack of cigarette in one hand and a pack of mule on the other.

He looked pretty wasted and I can see him still trying to keep his straight face. If I wasn't there a while ago, I will easily believe that nothing's wrong with him and he just wants to do his vices but then again, I am glad that somehow I am able to read through him. And I know that he's not okay.

He just needs someone to remind him that it's okay not to be okay.

Would it be too much if I want to be that someone?

"Gulf." He called me once again enough to bring me back to reality as I was too drawn with my thoughts.

"H-ha?" I muttered and saw that he's looking at me intently.

"I said what are you doing here?" He asked again. But there's something different with his the tone he used. It's the same tone he used to me this morning. No traces of indignation and indifference.

He's talking to me in a usual manner and I don't think I can ever get used to it. I was used to hearing his sarcasm whenever he's talking to me. But that doesn't mean that I don't like the way he talks to me now.

It feels good actually. I'm just not sure if I can ever get used to it and somehow felt apprehended cause I'm not sure if this is for good or Mew is just confused that he totally forgot that I'm Gulf. The person he hates.

"Do you want to come in?" Again, I am utterly shock upon hearing his invitation.

'Is this really happening?'

I looked at him with widened eyes and mouth agape and he frowned at my reaction as if it's unusual for me to react like this and that inviting me is just a usual thing for him.

'Oh, Mew. You don't know what you're doing to me.'

"W-what?" I asked him just to make sure that I'm hearing it right and I'm not having any delusions. He then sighed as if he's running out of patience before giving me a 'so done' look.

"Do you want to come in or not?" He asked once again and that's when I knew that it's true that he's really inviting me in and I am not just imagining!
