*Regina's POV*
I woke up to an empty bed and immediately freaked out, seeing as it was barely 1 am. The baby was asleep. So I got up and searched for Emma. I walked around the upstairs and found nothing. "Emma?" I said as I walked down the stairs. Nothing. I walked into the study and saw Emma staring out a window. She had headphones in, so she couldn't hear me. I snuck up behind her and kissed her cheek. She didn't move. She just took her headphones out and turned around. I looked at her and she avoided eye contact. "Emma. Stop avoiding me." I said as I shut the door. Emma looked up and met my eyes. "I love you Regina." She said and ran to me, hugging me tightly. I wrapped my arms around her, just as tight. "I love you Emma. What's wrong?" She looked at me and said "your mother." My whole body froze from the words. "Regina? Regina!" Emma said as I fainted. My eyes opened lightly and I squinted from the light. "What happened?" I asked and rubbed my head. Emma was kneeled beside me and holding me. "I mentioned your mother and you fainted. You've been out for 2 hours." Emma said and hugged me tight. "2 hours? Woah." I said and sat up. "Yeah. Your mother has taken to communicating with me. And she hurt my feelings. But then tried to fix it. And it just made me think a lot. And yeah." Emma said. I pulled her close and kissed her passionately. "I'm here for you baby." I said and she smiled. We stood up and went back to bed. I woke up 1 hour later. It was now 4 in the morning. The baby was still asleep. But Emma wasn't. Emma had her knees pulled into her chest and was sobbing. "What is it Emma?" I said and moved so I was sitting in front of her. She let her knees fall and crossed her legs, Indian style. I sat in her crossed legs and held her tightly. "Emma. You can talk to me." I said and she nodded. I wiped some tears away with my thumb and she smiled up a little at me. "Cora was communicating with me. Like she was when you tried to kill yourself. And I wasn't scared. But, then she started saying you were going to leave me and that she just wanted to help me. And she told me all this stuff, that she would comfort me if I came to her and she'd help me with magic and she said she'd be the mother I didn't have. I told her I had Snow now and I told her Charming was back. And I told her you comforted me whenever I needed it. And I said that I loved you and that you loved me, so I knew you weren't going to leave me but she still said you were. And then she called me hopeless because I wouldn't listen to her and now I just feel like shit." Emma said as she sobbed into my chest. I rubbed her back and she wrapped her arms around me lovingly. "I will never ever leave you. You know that." I said and rubbed her cheek with my thumb. She nodded and dried her tears. "Are you tired?" Emma asked me and I shook my head no. "Can we talk?" Emma asked and I nodded. I sat in front of her and held her hands. "I'll go first." I said and grabbed Emma's hands inside mine. "Emma, I love you. So so much. And I know you get upset, but Emma Swan, you are amazingly wonderful. One of my favorite times to look at your eyes is after you've been crying, because that's when your eyes are a brilliant shade of dark blue. They sparkle and shine, but are still dark. They're absolutely beautiful. Another time is right before you cry. Because that's when your eyes are almost purple. And that's how I know it's going to be a rough night, but I don't care. Because I would hold you all night to make you stop crying. I would do anything in my power to make you feel better Emma. And that's something that you should always know. No matter what my mother says. She just wants to take away our happiness. Okay? So, always remember that Emma." I said, tears rolling down my cheeks. Emma wiped them away. "I love you Regina." Emma said and kissed me lightly. "Regina, I hate when you cry and get upset because I can't comfort you like you comfort me. I don't know how. I wasn't raised being comforted when I cried. When I cried growing up, they would laugh at me. The parents would tell me that crying was a weakness, or no one respected anyone who cried. I wasn't supposed to cry. So, I'd cry into my pillow at night and then I'd scold myself after, because that's how I was raised. I want to be able to comfort you. I really do. But I just don't know how. And I'm so sorry for that." Emma said and looked at our hands. "Emma, honey. You always comfort me. You always make me feel so much better. Just by holding me, and kissing me lightly, just your touch makes me feel better. Emma, I never told you this, but, do you remember the night you came to Storybrooke and I claimed to have a headache?" I asked and Emma nodded. "Well, do you remember me stumbling and having to grab the door for balance after you touched me?" I asked and Emma looked at me confused, but nodded. "Emma, your touch made me go weak in the knees. That had never happened to me until you came along. Okay? You really swept me off my feet. And you really saved my life. I was going to jump from the tollbridge but I couldn't find Henry and then you showed up." I said and looked away awkwardly. Emma placed a hand on my cheek and pushed my face to look at her. "Regina. I love you. Never think like that again. Okay? I'm here for you. I love you. You are my world. And I'm glad I can comfort you, even though I don't know I am. I always want you to feel loved. Regina, I'm sorry I build up my walls in tough situations. I'm going to stop that and whenever I get upset, I'm going to come and talk to you. Okay?" Emma said and held my hands in hers. "Oh, Emma. That's all I've wanted." I said and kissed her passionately. I pulled away and checked Noah's crib. I gasped at what I saw. Emma and I jumped up and walked over to the crib. There was a small paper folded up where the baby should've been. "Dear Queen Emma and Queen Regina. The baby was sent to help you to bond and grow closer to each other. He disappeared because he had finished the job. The memories of him being here have been removed from everyone's memories. I'll leave the memories with you two. But, no one else will remember him. Always remember to love deeply and care fully for one another. A memory of the baby will appear to one of your children whenever you or Emma need to grow closer to the other. Keep the love for your baby in your hearts always. ~The Blue Fairy." I read out loud. Tears began streaming down my face and I threw the letter down. I crawled into bed and pulled the covers over me. I sobbed into my pillow. I felt the bed dip and Emma wrapped her arms around me tightly. "Another baby, just taken away from us." I sobbed into Emma's chest. "Shh, it's okay." Emma said as I felt her tears fall on my cheeks. I looked up and saw her tears flowing freely, just as mine. "I love you Emma." I said and held her tight. "I love you Regina." Emma said and wiped my tears away. I wiped hers away and smiled at her. "Emma... We've been talking since 4 in the morning. It's 8:15..." I said and looked at my wife. "Well, we had a lot to talk about." Emma said and giggled. "Yeah, but, if we're going to be running a town/ kingdom, we're going to need rest." I said and patted Emma's hand. "Eh, I'm not tired. Are you?" She said and I shook my head. "Well, I guess we should get up and get ready." I said and kissed her forehead. I flashed the baby crib away and sighed. "I'm going to miss him." I said and looked at the framed picture I had on my nightstand of Emma holding the baby. "I know. I will too. Maybe we can adopt." Emma said. "Eh, we'll see." I said and walked to the closet. "So, what do I wear to rule a kingdom?" Emma said and stood beside me. "We don't have to wear anything different. We just have to wear the small crowns, seeing as we are the queens." I said and hip bumped Emma. She laughed. "Like the one Queen Renaldi wears in the second princess diaries, after Mia accepts the thrown?" Emma asked me. "Emma. Did you really just compare our lives to that?" I said. She just looked at me. I sighed. "Yes Emma. Crowns like hers." I said and laughed at my wife. "Do we have tooooooooo?" Emma whined. I laughed at my wife who was being childish. "Emma. Yes. We have to." I said and picked out a grey pencil skirt and a deep purple blouse. "I don't wanna." Emma huffed. I then grabbed a pair of shiny black pumps and shook my head at my wife. Then I walked out of the large closet. Leaving Emma to choose her outfit. She came out with a pair of black dress pants and a light blue blouse. My eyes went wide. "You're going to wear that?" I asked her. She nodded her head. "I feel like I need to look a little more professional. Seeing as I am a queen now." Emma said and smirked. I shook my head. "Well, then, let me make a suggestion for shoes." I said as I laughed and walked into the closet. I picked out a pair of black, patent leather stilettos and walked back out to my wife. "I think these will go nicely." I said and held them out. Emma rolled her eyes and took them from me. "I hate heels." Emma whined and put the shoes on. "I know. But, if you're going to dress like a queen, you have to have the shoes for it." I said and winked at my wife. Emma stood up and looked at herself in the mirror. "You look stunning." I said and zipped up the side of my skirt. Emma had her shirt tucked in loosely. And her hair was in loose curls. I sat down on the bed and put on my heels. I stood up and walked over to the mirror and wrapped my arms around Emma's waist. "I should be the one saying that to you." Emma said and kissed my cheek. "Well, you're kind dear." I said. I had my blouse tucked in my skirt loosely. It had long sleeves and the skirt stopped right above my knees. I straightened my skirt and Emma frowned. "What? Don't you like the tight skirt?" I said and smirked as I wrapped my arms around Emma's neck. She placed her hands on my hips and smiled. "Oh of course I do. I just don't want anyone else to look at your, perfect little ass." Emma said with a smirk. "Little?" I said and gave her a fake frown. "aw, no. You know what I meant. It's the perfect size babe." Emma said. "Right." I said and turned away, crossing my arms over my chest, trying to keep from laughing. "Come on Gina. I'm sorry. I love your ass." Emma said. I lost it. I burst into laughter. "What's so funny?" Emma said. "I was just messing with you. I knew what you meant the whole time." I said, in between fits of laughter. Emma crossed her arms. "Ha ha. Not funny." She said and rolled her eyes. "Oh, lighten up." I said and kissed her cheek. I then walked over to the crowns. I picked mine up and put it on, over my straightened hair. Emma smiled and tried to leave. "Nope. Come on Emma. You have to wear it." I said and held up Emma's crown. She rolled her eyes up and walked over to me. Her heels clicking on the hard wood floor with every step she took. I placed the crown on over her loose curls and she smiled. "I guess I could get used to this." Emma said as she looked at herself in the mirror. "Me too." I said and kissed her neck from behind. She turned around and wrapped her arms around me. "Your majesty. What is this display of affection?" I said and wrapped my arms around her waist. "Is it a crime for the queen to show affection to her wife?" Emma said and kissed me on the cheek. "Mm, no. But, I was the queen first. So, I should be showing you the affection." I said and kissed her neck lightly. She smiled and let a small moan escape from her lips. I found her sweet spot and nipped at her neck lightly. Emma let out another moan. I sucked on her sweet spot until there was a mark that was to my liking. I let go and then kissed her cheek. "Let's go, my princess." I said and held her hand. She smiled at me and we walked to the kids room. "Henry, Charming should be here to start your lessons soon. I hope your up and ready." Emma said and knocked on our sons door. "I'm ready mom." Henry called out. We then went to Taylor's room. "Taylor. I hope you're ready. Snow will be here to start your lessons soon as well!" I called out to our daughter. "I am!" She called out, then opened the door. She had her hair in a bun, with a braid wrapped around the side of her head. She was wearing my old riding clothes. (AN:The outfit Regina wore in the episode where she saved the young Snow White.) "You look beautiful." Emma said and kissed her head. "Mom, I should say the same to you." She said and giggled. Then Henry opened the door. He was wearing brown riding pants with a navy riding coat. He also had on navy boots. "You guys look great." I said and smiled at my children. We had pulled them out of school and Snow and Charming were going to be homeschooling them. They would be learning everything they would've learned in the Enchanted Forest. "Morning Swan-Mills family!" We heard Snow yell up the stairs. "Morning mom." Emma said as she walked down to the foyer. She kissed her mother on the cheek and then hugged her father. "Morning Regina." Charming said and hugged me. "Morning. Kids! Come on! Don't keep them waiting." I said as the kids ran down the stairs. "No running inside!" I said as they hugged their grandparents. "Lighten up mom." Henry said and looked at me. I shot him a death glare. "Sorry.." He said as Charming pulled him to the side. "Lesson 1- respect your mothers." Charming said with a firm tone. Henry nodded. "Bye moms. See you later." And Henry and Charming left. Then Taylor and Snow left. "Bye guys. Have a good lesson." I said and waved to them. "Ready for work, love?" I said to Emma. Emma nodded and kissed me. We walked outside and walked towards Town Hall. "Morning your majesties." Granny said, as she passed us for work. "Morning Granny." I said with a smile. Emma smiled at her. "This is going to be... Different." Emma said as we walked into town hall. "Morning your majesties." Our secretary said as we walked past her. "Good morning." Emma said with a smile. I smiled at her. "Morning Emily." I said and she sat back down. We walked to our joint office and Emma smiled at the door. Queen Emma and Queen Regina Swan-Mills was etched into the glass on the door. I smiled and put a hand on her back. "That's the only thing that's changed. The rest of the office is the same." I said and smiled. She smiled as I unlocked the door and we walked in. "I love this office." Emma said with a grin. "I love you." I said and wrapped my arms around her. "I love you. My queen." Emma said and pulled me in for a kiss, so I kicked the door closed.
