*Henry's POV*
"Hey, Lexie. Are you busy?" I said through the phone. Lexie and I have been dating for 4 years now. I'm 15. I want to tell her I love her. But I'm scared. I don't know why. I just am. "Oh, Henry. This is Tink. I think you and your mothers should come over." I heard Lexie's mom say through the phone. "Is everything okay?" I asked. "Not really. Just, come soon." Tink said, sounding as she had been crying. "Okay." I said beginning to grow worried. My moms were at work. I had a day off today. I got up and put on jeans and a tshirt. I put on a leather jacket and vans and put my phone in my back pocket. "Taylor! I'll be back later. I have to go to Lexie's house." I said as I ran down the stairs. "K!" I heard her yell as I ran out the front door. I ran all the way to Town Hall. I only stopped to talk to my moms' secretary. "Hey. I need to talk to my moms. It's very important." I said and looked at Emily. She looked at the clock. "Okay. They should be in." She said and smiled. I ran to their office and threw the door opened. "Henry! Are you okay?" Gina said as she stood up from her desk. Emma was sitting on the desk and she stood up too. "Tinker Bell said we needed to come over. Soon. I called Lexie's phone and Tink answered. She said something was wrong. I'm really freaking out." I said to my moms. "Okay. Let's go." Emma said and they walked towards me. We walked to my moms Mercedes and got in. Emma was driving. So we'd get there fast. We got to Tinker Bells house and we all practically ran to the front door. I knocked and Tinker bell answered the door. She's crying. "Oh, Henry." She said and hugged me. "What's wrong." I said and looked at her. "Henry, Lexie was in an accident." She said and laid a hand on my shoulder. "Don't you dare tell me she's dead!" I yelled as tears began to form in the corners of my eyes. "I'm so sorry Henry." She said and pulled me in for a hug. "This isn't fair." I said and hugged her, letting the tears flow freely down my face. "Henry, why don't you and Emma head home. I have to talk to Tink. I'll be home in a little while." Regina said. I nodded and Emma and I left.
*Regina's POV*
"Tink. Is there any way to bring back Lexie?" I asked as we sat down. She nodded. "What is it?" I asked her. "The candle." She said. "So, you need a sacrifice?" I said and Tink nodded. "I just want you and Henry to be happy again. I'll do it." I said. Tink shook her head. "No, Regina I won't let you." She said. "I am the queen. I command you to let me do it. Please." I said, tears rolling down my cheeks. "I don't want you to have to do that." She said, crying for me. "Please. Henry can't lose his girlfriend. Taylor lost her wife. I don't want Henry to go through that too." I said. "Are you positive?" She said. I nodded. "Okay.." She said. "Thank you Regina." she said and hugged me. I nodded. This was it. Emma would be the queen. She could fall in love with someone who wasn't evil. "Tell Emma I loved her." I said to Tink as I pulled out my heart and handed it to her. She whispered Lexie into the candle and then whispered my name into the candle and my heart. She then placed my heart back in my chest. There was a sharp pain in my chest. This was it. I was dying to save my sons love. Tink cried and I saw Lexie's body appear. Then everything went black.
*Tink's POV*
"Regina!" I screamed and cried as I saw my friend die, to save my daughter. "Mom. She didn't. Did she?" Lexie said and I nodded. I immediately ran to the phone. I called Emma. "Emma! Get back to my house! Hurry! It's Regina!" I screamed into the phone when Emma answered.
*Emma's POV*
I began running to Tink's house as soon as she hung up. i got there and ran in to see Regina laying on the couch. "What happened?" I screamed as I saw Lexie and Tinker Bell crying over Regina. "She insisted on using the candle to save Lexie. She forced me." Tink said and cried. "No! Regina!" I said as I kneeled beside her, tears pouring down my cheeks. "Please! Regina! I need you!" I screamed as I cried into Regina's stomach. "Please." I said with a stressed voice. "I can't believe she'd leave me like this. She promised she'd never leave me! This isn't fair!" I screamed as I stood up. "Dammit Regina Swan-Mills! This isn't fair! You should be here comforting Henry! Dammit Regina!" I said as I fell to the floor and sat in the fetal position. "Dammit." I cried into my knees. "Emma, I tried to stop her. She wouldn't let me." Tink said. "I know. It's because she was damn stubborn." I said and cried. "It's not your fault." I said and wiped my eyes. "I'm going to take her body and handle everything." I said and picked up my wife's lifeless body bridal style. Tink nodded. I walked out of the house and began walking home. Crying. "Regina. This isn't fair. I love you too fucking much. I need you." I said, my voice wavering. I got to my house and Henry and Taylor met me at the door. "Your mom sacrificed her life so Lexie would be revived." I said and cried, looking down at the woman in my arms. "Mom!" They screamed and looked at her. Then they both began crying and ran to their rooms. I carried her up the stairs and laid her in our bed. "Regina. I can't live without you. This isn't fair." I said as I hugged her body. I love her too much. If she's dead, I'm sure as hell not gonna live. I honestly can't live without her.
*later that night* I had been crying in my room, trying to figure out a casket for about 3 hours now. This was all too much. I should be the one that's gone. This isn't fair. She didn't even say goodbye. "Mom?" I heard Taylor say as she walked in my room. "Yeah?" I said as I wiped my face. "Did you try true loves kiss?" She asked me. I shook my head. "The candle was magic. Magic can't break magic." I said. "But, you're the truest loves. That's the most powerful magic... Won't you at least try?" She said, tears rolling down her cheeks. "I'll try. But, it might not work." I said and looked at my daughter. "Trying never hurt anyone." She said and looked at me. I nodded and looked at my wife's lifeless body. This would be my goodbye kiss. The last one I gave my beautiful queen. This was the last thing I ever wanted to have to do. Say goodbye to the thing I loved most. I leaned over to my wife. "Goodbye my queen." I said, my voice shaking. I kissed her forehead lightly and Taylor walked out, thinking it didn't work. "E-Emma." She said and sat up quickly. "Regina!" I said and wrapped my arms around her tightly. "Emma, that shouldn't have worked. Magic can't break magic." She said and cupped my cheek. "Truest love is the most powerful magic. It can cast any spell and break any curse." I said and kissed her. She smiled into the kiss. "But, what if Lexie didn't make it?" She said. I didn't think about that. "Let's go see if she did." I said and that's when Taylor and Henry burst into the room. "Regina!" They screamed and wrapped her in tight hugs. "Hey." she said with a smile. "Mom, never ever leave us again." Henry said. "I won't kid." She said and they left. "Next time remember that we share pieces of our hearts. You could've killed me too." I said and pulled her in for a passionate kiss. "I'll never do anything like this again. I promise." she said as she pulled away. I nodded. We walked to Tink's house and she ran to meet us before we got to her door. "Regina! I'm so happy to see Emma saved you!" She said. "Is Lexie okay?" Regina asked. Tink shook her head. "It was her time. It was not yours." She said. We hugged her. "I'm sorry Emma saved me." Regina said. "Don't be. It wasn't your time to leave us. And, you have part of Emma's heart in your heart and she has part of yours in hers. So she would've died soon. And we don't want that." Tink said. I nodded. "I love you Gina." I said as we walked home. "I love you more, Princess." She said and kissed my temple as she grabbed my hand. I smiled. Maybe we were always going to be saving each other. Maybe that's just part of being the truest loves. I'm okay with that.
