Hannah's past...☆

I open my eyes to find myself stuck in a hospital bed, I sit up to find anyone that can explain to me what had happened.

3 nurses where outside the door drinking coffee and chit-chatting. I tried to get up but failed to. As I couldn't do so I grabbed a remote control next to my bed.

I pressed it 3 times until a nurse showed up.

Nurse:" How can I help you, Hannah?."

She said peeking through the open door.

Hannah: "Hi I want to know why I am here?."

She looked at me concerned.

Nurse: "Look honey I think it's time for you to relax a bit don't you think? Let's just be patient and wait for the doctor to arrive and give you the news okay sweetheart?."

She got the remote control from my hand and turned on the TV, As she waved goodbye to me.

I was confused about why she wouldn't tell me such a thing.

My eyes got stuck to the TV watching the episode of 'The Fosters' while it was live.

The room was so cold I felt shivers floating from my neck making its way down my spinal cord.

My hands felt like a freezer and my legs where all pale and shivering as well.

I grabbed the blanket and wrapped my entire body around it. I felt an ache on my stomach it was causing me to feel kind of dizzy.

A few minutes a Nurse came in with a brown giant pill for me to swallow.

I looked at her concerned.

Hannah: "What's that pill for mam?."

She looked like she was hiding something from me.

Nurse: "Mam the doctor ordered this pill for you to relax so please go ahead and take it you are tensed."

She handed me the pill and a cup of water on the side. Ugh, I hate taking big ass pills.

I grabbed it and placed it on my tongue while rolling my head back and taking a sip of the water to make it easier to swallow.

As I successfully drank it I let out a little cough.

The nurse took my temperature and my blood pressure while she was in the room. She looked at the thermometer and freaked out.

Nurse:" Oh My! You have a fever."

She rushed outside to get another pill to make the fever go away.

As much as I hate taking pills this was torture.

I swallowed the white plain pill.

At least it wasn't as big as the other one.

I quickly began to feel more nausea.

A few minutes passed by and I ended up puking all the water and the pills I had taken. I felt so bad afterward my stomach felt like shit.

I didn't know what was going on maybe I have a disease or something in my stomach that's killing me.

The nurse went out the door and came back with a few towels and a mop to clean up the mess I created.

As she was done there was a knock at the door.

~Knock Knock~

The doctor had arrived, Thank god.

He looked concerned and sit next to my hospital bed.

He was tall white-haired and had facial hair as well, a couple of wrinkles next to his eyes and chicken legs how they call it nowadays.

He looked firmly at me.

Doctor:" Hannah I want to speak to you about something very important today."

I looked at him not being able to read what he was about to say, but by his look, it wasn't good news either.

I nodded my head as a response.

Doctor:" I am sorry to inform you at this young age, but you are currently pregnant you are 6 weeks now."

Once he said that I felt light-headed.

I started to shake.

Hannah:" Are you a sure doctor? This can't be happening right now, not at this very moment when I haven't even finished high school yet."

His eyes felt sorry for me, but I didn't want no one to feel sorry for me, Being pregnant is not something to feel sorry about but at age 17 this is shocking news this can't be happening
At this time of age.

I felt water flowing down my eyes escaping its way down my cheeks. I couldn't deal with this situation because I don't know if I will have this baby's father's support.

Hannah:" How long am I supposed to stay here doctor?."

He scanned through his paperwork and gave his attention to me.

Doctor: "You can leave tomorrow afternoon as long as you eat all your food and drink all your vitamins you are good to go. You came here because you were dehydrated and that's why you fainted at your visit with your brother today."

I remembered I went to see my brother, But how am I supposed to tell him I am pregnant? How is he going to understand that? Is he going to be on my side when I need him? But 10 years is a lot to wait for though.

I questioned myself all these doubts that I had after the news was released to me.

I need to figure out a way to be able to maintain this child because I am not going to abort it. I don't believe in abortions I think those women that do it aren't even ready to be a mother.

Because the ones who do it don't even have a heart.

I searched my room to find my cell phone.

As I could see it was sitting at the table next to the TV I wasn't able to reach for it.

The doctor handed me some papers.

I looked at it then back to him.

Hannah:" What's this for doctor?."

Doctor:" Those are some papers I printed out at my office, I did some research and like you have such a young age to be a mother, you have options along with it. Like 1 abortion. 2. Give up for adoption. Or 3 you can keep it and raise the child.

I searched through the papers and reading carefully everything that was written in it.

Of course, I'm going to keep it no matter what happens. It's not the baby's fault he's in my stomach though.

The doctor left giving me some personal space and time to think it through though.

I felt so horrible I wasn't capable of thinking straight with all these nausea and shivering I had.

I lay the papers next to my bed on the little brown light table that was sitting there with a nice small cute lamp on it's side.

I pressed the remote control button to call for a nurse.

3 minutes had gone by and a nurse showed up.

Nurse:" What's the matter Hannah is everything okay?."

Hannah:" No I need you to bring me a few extra blankets I'm cold."

She nodded her hand and smiled leaving out the door in search of extra blankets for me.

When she got back she wrapped them on my entire body and it felt so good, feeling the warm hot blankets giving me the heat that I needed just to get myself to sleep.

The nurse turned off the TV which was on and turned off the lights so I can sleep peacefully.

I was feeling like a sick baby being so well cared for by these awesome nurses.
