"Hey Uglybeth, we got a new boyfriend for you," A girl from behind laughed. Annabeth turned around. Jess, a popular girl from her mortal school pointed at Bane, a nerdy guy with freckles all over his face. Annabeth wanted to break Jess' neck but all she said was, "I said I already have a boyfriend" Jess snickered in disbelief.
"Annabeth!" A familiar voice shouted. She spun around a smile on her face. Percy walked over.
"Oh, who is this gorgeous young man?" Jess said flirtatiously.
Percy kissed Annabeth on the lips before replying, "Her boyfriend. Now get lost before I kill you for bullying my girlfriend. Believe me, I have killed much tougher people than idiot cheerleaders"
Jess' jaw went slack.
