Chapter 10

"Huijun! Minjae is here!"

Huijun was confused but got up and went to see where Minjae was.

"Hey Huijun, I came by to do the assignment."

Huijun nodded, then led Minjae to the kitchen table. He ran to his room to get his backpack then went back to Minjae.

"So I see Seungmin actually went to frame the picture." Minjae pointed out looking around and laughing.

Huijun smiled and nodded.

"Well we have one and a half pages left. We can finish it tomorrow. I got to go." Minjae told Huijun while heading out.

Huijun packed up his stuff and went back to his room. He started where he left off on voice warm ups not knowing Seungmin was still in the room. As always, all that came out was vibrating hums caught in his throat. He's been practicing this since Minjae told him he wanted to hear him sing which has been three days. It was all still alot for Huijun to get used to doing.

It was getting closer to winter break and Huijun was getting progress with his voice exercises. He was able to hum loud enough to where someone could hear him and he could talk in a whisper like voice. He decided he wasn't gonna let others know until he was able to fully let out words without panic. However, Seungmin figured something was up but didn't put two and two together.

Junhyuk heard a conversation. He was going to walk away until he heard Ms. Park's voice.

"No, the investigation needs to go on. I already have a suspect in mind. Yes it's about my son. No, I'm not crazy. I need answers. I'm not going to give up until you find out who killed my baby. Fine, I'll investigate myself. No Huijun, I'll prove that you killed my precious baby."

As soon as he heard footsteps, Junhyuk ran to avoid being caught overhearing Ms. Park's conversation.

"Hey Junhyuk, where have you been?" Seongjun asked Junhyuk once Junhyuk walked into their house.

"We need to get to Huijun before Ms. Park does." Junhyuk blurted out.

"Why?"

"Let's go see him and Seungmin. We also need to invite Minjae. I'll explain what's going on once we're all together." Junhyuk said, waiting for his hyung to grab a coat and his keys.

"We need to get Minjae." Junhyuk told Seungmin.

"He's already here. Him and Huijun are in the room." Seungmin explained.

"Alright then, to the room it is." Seongjun announced heading towards Huijun and Seungmin's room with Junhyuk and Seungmin trailing behind him.

"Everyone's here Junhyuk. What did you want to tell us?" Seongjun asked.

"Okay well, I might have overheard Ms. Park saying the police were calling off the investigation and she'll just try to prove that Huijun killed Ji-Tae. So I wanted all you guys to know so we can prove Huijun as innocent before she makes a false accusation with fake proof."
