Later on in the week (Y/n)'s and Harry's interviews were published in the Quibbler.
"Good isn't it" Luna said walking up then in the Great Hall. "I asked daddy to send you a free copy" she said in her dreamy voice. "I expect these are from fans" she said gesturing to the myriad owls nestled around Harry.
"Why have you got all these letters Mr Potter?" Umbridge said making her way towards the table.
"Why? Is that a crime now, getting mail?" Fred said loudly.
"Be careful Mr Weasley or I shall have to put you in detention" she said in her sickly sweet voice. "Well Mr Potter?"
"People have written to me because I have an interview" Harry said.
"An interview? What do you mean?" Umbridge asked him.
"Oh sorry that's too big of a word for you isn't it? Come on Harry you've got to use simpler words than that." (Y/n) said mocking her.
"I mean a reporter asked me questions and I answered them" Harry said throwing her a copy of the Quibbler.
She scanned over it, scowling more and more with each sentence. "When did you do this"
"Last Hogsmeade visit" Harry said nonchalantly.
"There will be no more Hogsmeade visits for you Mr Potter. Of you Mr (L/n)! How dare you! How could you! I have tried time and time again to teach you but apparently the lesson hasn't sunk in yet. Fifty points from Gryffindor and another weeks worth of detentions"
By the end of breakfast they were signs posted all throughout the school. Not just in the house common rooms but in the halls as well.
They stated that due to the new decree anyone found in possession of the Quibbler would be expelled. Whenever Hermione passed one of these sign she smiled.
"Why are you so happy about this?" Harry snapped at her.
"Oh don't you see Harry, now that she's banned the interview everyone is going to want to read it" Hermione said beaming.
About a week later there was a large crowd amassed by the entrance of the castle. There were two trunks lying on the floor next to Professor Trelawney who was on her knees crying.
Standing on the staircase in front her was Umbridge, smiling sadistically.
"You didn't realize this was coming?" Umbridge said, with joy in her voice. "Incapable as you are of even predicting the weather you surely must have realized that your pitiful performance would get you sacked?"
"No you can't sack me. I've been here sixteen years! Hogwarts is my home!" Trelawney sobbed from the floor.
"Was. Hogwarts WAS your home" Umbridge said smiling. "That is until an hour ago when the Minister of Magic countersigned your order of removal. Now kindly remove your self from the castle"
"There there Sybill, calm down you won't have to leave Hogwarts" Professor McGonagall said kneeling down next to Trelawney comforting her.
"Oh really?" Umbridge said raising an eyebrow. "And your authority for that statement is?"
"That would be mine" said Dumbledore in a deep and authoritative voice.
"I'm afraid you don't understand the situation Dumbledore. I have here" Umbridge said pulling out a piece of parchment.
"An order of dismal signed by myself and the Minister of Magic. Under educational decree number twenty-three, the High Inquisitor of Hogwarts, that is to say I, have the power to inspect, place on probation, and sack any teacher that is not preforming up to the standard of the Ministry of Magic. I have decided that Trelawney is not up to scratch and have decided to sack her."
"You are quite right Professor Umbridge. As High Inquisitor you have every right to dismiss my teachers. You do not however have the authority to send them away from the castle. That still resides with me, the headmaster" Dumbledore said politely.
"Might I ask you to escort Professor Trelawney back upstairs Professor McGonagall" Dumbledore said.
At this (Y/n) quickly got up and ran to help Trelawney up the stairs, purposely pushing into Umbridge as he walked past her.
Dumbledore has hired a centaur named Firenze to replace Trelawney. As it turns out it was the same centaur that had saved Harry in their first year.
(Y/n) didn't care that much for the new Divinations teacher, not that he had liked Trelawney that much either.
"I'll bet you wished you hadn't given up Divinations now don't you Hermione?" Parvati asked her at breakfast about a week later.
"No not really I've never like horses" Hermione said indifferently.
"She not a horse! He's a centaur!" Lavender said outraged.
"A gorgeous centaur..." Parvati said daydreaming.
"Either way he's still got four legs" Hermione said.
"I though you were upset about Trelawney?" (Y/n) asked them.
"We are! We went up to her office the other day to see her. We brought her some daffodils, not those honking ones that sprout has, but some nice one-" Lavender was saying.
"How is she?" Harry asked her.
"Not good the poor thing" Parvati said "she's not dealing with this that well"
