Maiya's POV
I finally opened my eyes and saw that we were at a hotel. That was all I could see. Without even looking at them, I knew my eyes were swollen. I couldn't register the faces or the voices so I just shut my eyes.

A man that I'm assuming is Max took hold of me and held me. He carried me to the room and laid me on a bed and almost immediately I was asleep. I felt someone come behind me and wrap their arms around me. So I just scooted back and leaned against them and relaxed.

Demi's POV
I can't even explain what I'm feeling right now. She has bruises all over her body. Her eyes are swollen shut from crying and from being hit. I'll ask her tomorrow. I won't push her but I want her to know that she can trust me. I want to help her.

She was shaking so bad. I quickly changed and got in bed behind her and wrapped my arms around her to comfort her. Almost immediately she relaxed and fell asleep.

Well I don't have anything to do today, so I can just relax, I thought. But then I looked down and remembered the girl from yesterday. She was so beautiful, even when she slept. I decided to run to Starbucks and get us some breakfast.

She was still sleeping when I came back so I just sat back in bed on my phone. About ten minutes later she was still sleeping so I went and took a shower. Right after I finished my shower I heard a thud and a groan.

Maiya's POV

When I woke up I rolled over and fell on the floor. I groaned.
Shit that hurt so bad. Then the most beautiful human being in all existence ran out of the bathroom to help me up.
"Oh my god are you okay?" She asked me.
I chucked, "yeah I think I'm alright."
She just stared at me.
"Okay okay I'm in serious pain" I told her.
"Ummhmmm I thought so." She responded.

So I got up and sat on the bed. I watched her as she finished getting ready. Damn she was beautiful.
Soon she was finished.
"Hey I stopped by Starbucks and picked up some breakfast." She told me.
I just stopped moving. Breakfast. I haven't eaten in days. Maybe weeks. I was so hungry.
She walked over so I followed.

Demi's POV
She just stared at me and then the food then back at me again. I looked at her then walked over to the bag and got a bagel. Then she ran over got two bagels at once and sat down with me and ate. She ate and ate and ate. I had never seen anyone eat so much so fast before. She seemed like she hasn't eaten in a while. No wonder she was so little. But she was so beautiful.

"Oh my god! Thank you so much. You're the greatest." She said to me.
"Yeah sure thing baby. Do you want more?" At that she shyly nodded her head, so I told her to have as much as she wanted.
