Maiya's POV
She didn't know I was awake. I heard everything she said and I could tell she was falling apart. I knew I would just be a burden to her. She deserves someone so much better than me. It just hurt to think about.
"That really hurt you know," was all I could manage. When she turned to me I could tell she had been sobbing. She looked at me and just started talking.
"Baby girl I'm so sorry I never meant it. I was just so upset that you didn't tell me the truth. I always wanted to be there for you but I wasn't the best girlfriend I could be. You deserve so much better so if understand if you wanted to move on from me. But I love you." She said as she sobbed.
"Awwww baby come here. You're not the worst girlfriend. You are the best girlfriend anyone could ask for. I'm never gonna leave you." I said as she climbed in the small hospital bed with me.
"Baby I'm so sorry I didn't just tell you the truth. I don't know. I just didn't want to think about it. I'm so sorry. I love you. And I didn't want to hurt you." I told her as I kissed her forehead and stroked her hair.
"When can I leave?" I asked as she giggled. "Probably soon. I'll ask the doctor." She said as she got up to go find the doctor.
She came back ten minutes later. "You can leave now. But we have to hurry. It's almost 1 and we need to finish packing and check out of the hotel by 3:30."
"Ok," I said as the doctor walked in to discharge me.
"Demi I'm trusting that you will do as I told you. I think it would really help." He said. What was he talking about? Do what?
She just nodded and looked down. "C'mon Maiya." She said as she got her stuff. I don't think that's a good sign.

When we got to the car I needed to know. "What was he talking about?" I asked her. She was biting her lip really hard.
"Baby stop you're gonna make your lip bleed."
"I know," she mumbled as I grabbed her hand. I stroked the back of her hand with my thumb. She just sighed. I'll just leave it alone for now.

Demi's POV
I hate the thought of it, but I have to at least consider it with her. These plane seats were so uncomfortable but we're about to land. When we get home my family will already be there. I want her to be happy when she finally meets them. But I don't know. She seems a little upset still.

"Hey baby we have five minutes till we land. You should get your stuff together so we can head home." I said with a smile. She just groaned. So I decided I had to do what I had to do.

Maiya's POV

But I wasn't ready to get up yet. I'm still so tired.
"AAHHHHH NO PLEASE STOP! IM SORRY I'LL GET UP PLEASE NO STOP" I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe. She was tickling me. I laughed so hard everytime she tickled me. It hurt to laugh when she was done. So I attacked back.
"OH MY GOD NO MAIYA STOP I CAN'T. BREATHE." I decided to give her mercy.
"Fine. But I'll get you later" I said with a smirk on my face.

She had a white Range Rover. It was so shiny and clean it didn't even look like she had ever driven it. It was about a 20 minute drive so I decided to snooze a little longer since I couldn't drive because I didn't know where I was going. But I couldn't sleep. I was so excited. I kept sneaking glances at Demi. She's so beautiful. How did I gets I lucky to have her?
"I see you." she said with a sexy smirk. I miss her lips. I feel like its been forever since I've kissed them. Soon we pulled up to her house. It was huge. There was another car in the driveway. It was her family's car. I just remembered how nervous I was to meet them.

When we walked in, her family was in the living room. My stomach was turning. I don't know if I can do it.

Demi's POV
"HEY GUYS!!" Omg I've missed my family so much. Though we live within a reasonable time apart I didn't see them as often as I wish I could. I introduced Maiya to Maddie, Dallas, Momma, and Eddie.

After introductions we all sat down together and started talking. Maiya fit in the family so well. She was talking and laughing making jokes with the family.
"Maiya I want you to know that you are now apart of our family. Which means you are welcome to visit us and talk or call us whenever you need. Okay?" Momma told Maiya. I'm so glad they accept her and love her like I do.

"Apart of the family?" I heard Maddie say.
"You guys didn't tell Maddie?!?" I cannot believe they didn't tell Maddie.
"Tell me what?" she whined.
"Maiya is my girlfriend. Therefore she is now apart of my family."
"So she's like another sister to me?" she squealed.
"Yes Maddie she's like another sister"" I already knew what was coming next.
"YAAAAYYYY!" She screamed as she hugged both Maiya and I. I laughed and then we went back to talking.

After a few hours it was nearly midnight, which meant it was about 3am for Maiya. I could tell she was fighting sleep so she can talk to the family. She kept yawning as I held her close to me.

"So are you guys gonna stay here, stay at a hotel for the night, or drive home?" I'm hoping they don't say drive home.
"Well we're not going to stay here since you guys just got home. We'll give you some time to sleep cuz jet lag will get you." Eddie told us.
"You guys don't have to go if you don't want to. We have plenty of room for you guys to stay." I pleaded.
"Nah we'll go. We'll text or call you when we get in. Okay baby?" Momma said as she yawned.
"Okay fine. You guys please be safe. I love you guys." I said to them as I sighed and hugged them all.
"Okay hun. Bye Maiya. It was so nice to meet you sweetie." Momma said as she hugged her and walked out. We waited until they left and then went back inside.

Maiya's POV

"I love your family. They're amazing. So funny too." They were so fun.
"Oh good. I was hoping you guys would all warm up to each other. But I'm so happy that you enjoyed them." She yawned and leaned up against the counter. I kissed her lips and just held them there. I wish this could last forever. Then she lifted me up and carried me like a baby up the stairs. I was so tired.

Demi's POV
I picked her up and she was out before I could even get to the bedroom. I laid her in the bed and laid next to her. She leaned her body into me and entangled her legs with mine and we fell asleep comfortably like that.
