Demi's POV
It's been 1 month since Maiya and I have been together. We've been doing fine lately. We've had some downs randomly but not frequently. Her birthday is in two days and I have something special planned. It's like 4 am right now and I can't sleep. I've been thinking about her a lot lately. I love this girl and she's become everything to me.
"Dems are you okay? You're up really early?" My baby asked me with her beautiful brown eyes looking up at me. I love the feeling of her in my arms.
"Yeah babes I'm fine. I just can't sleep very well." I said shrugging. She sat up and pulled me into her lap. I leaned my head up against her chest.

"You've come so far. I'm so proud of you. I couldn't ask for a better girlfriend. You are amazing baby. I'm so so proud of you. I love you." That felt so much better.
"Awe baby I love you too. I don't know what I did to deserve you but it was worth it. You are my definition of perfect and I wouldn't want to have it any other way." She looked down at me and pulled me in for a kiss. I leaned up against her chest.

Maiya's POV
She's so adorable when she sleeps. She sleeps with a smile on her face. This has been a pretty good month. And we have spent so much time together. She's been thinking about going on tour next year but I don't know if I'll be able to handle if she leaves me.

Maiya's POV

Its April 6th. With means I now have 1 day until I turn 21. I'm growing up. I can remember 10 years ago. Those were the happy times. The times when my parents loved me. When they didn't hate me and leave me alone all the time. But I don't care anymore. I'm happy here with Demi and thats all that matters.

She rolled over in my arms and pecked me on the nose.
"Good morning baby." She whispered.
"Good morning love. How did you sleep?" I asked her.
"Pretty good. I'm gonna make some banana nut muffins for breakfast, wanna help?" she asked as she hopped out of bed and walked to the closet.
"Sure. Let's change first."

We just threw on some large T-shirts and went downstairs to start breakfast.
After we took out everything and preheated the oven we started mixing. I was mashing the bananas then out of nowhere Demi just threw a handful of flour at me.

Demi's POV
I had to do it. It was just the perfect moment. She was so concentrated on mashing the bananas. Cooking is no fun without a mess.
"O MY GOD DEMI" she screeched as she threw some flour back at me. This went on with us laughing and squealing for about a good 15 minutes.
Then she started chasing me around the island. But then I slipped on some of the flour on the floor and fell. She stood over me as we both laughed. When she wasn't paying attention, i stood up to get more flour and then smeared flour all over her face. She just stopped and looked at me. Then she got extremely close. She pushed me back lightly into the counter and pressed her body against mine with her hands on the counter on either side of me. Then she crashed her lips onto mine as they began moving in sync. So I finished making the muffins and putting them in the oven. Demi had gone to sit on the couch and watch TV. I know she was pressed. It's okay though. She'll come back around eventually.
