The trip to my apartment later became a trip to the skate park. It was rainy and cold so I doubt anyone would be there at this hour. Billie texted me constantly so I turned my phone off and just rode through the rain.

I ended up at the empty skate park and just rode the ramps and ledges while slipping every now and then.

I gave up and just laid on the ground in the middle of the skatepark. "I knew I'd find you here" Riley says and I look at her. "Cmon its raining let's get you home and talk" she says and pulls me to the car. I get in and stare out the window as she drives.

"How'd you find me" I ask and she taps her fingers against the wheel. "Billie told me what happened and told me you took off. There's only so many places you know out here and one of your skateboards were gone" she says and I sigh. "Look kissing you unexpected was wrong but you gotta look at it from her perspective. She likes you Liz and you just up and leaving after a kiss makes her feel like shit" Riley says and I stay silent.

"It was a kiss Liz and I know it might be weird to know she has feelings for you and I know you were probably shocked but you need to think about this. Are you gonna throw your friendship away for a stupid kiss or are you gonna talk to her" Riley says and I flip my hair to the side.

"The thing is I liked it, I was just scared I guess. I mean how many times can you say a world famous singer has feelings for you" I say and Riley squeezes my thigh. "Well you better act on this shit quick cause she leaving tomorrow" Riley says and my eyes widen.

"Hey flight isn't till Thursday though" I say and Riley shrugs. "She's hurt and wants to give you space and you shouldn't run to her tonight. Sleep on it and if you wanna start something then do it but if not then dont string her on. Her flight leaves at eight in the morning" Riley says and pulls into the parking lot. We head inside and I march straight to my room and close the door.

So many things were flashing through my head at the moment. Did I want this did I not want it? Was Billie only messing with me, was I gonna be good enough for here. "Get out of my head" I groan and grip handfuls of my hair, wanting the thoughts to leave my head.

Okay I just need to occupy myself so I forget. Boom simple. I turn some Netflix on and lay down on my messy bed. Instantly the smell of Billie's perfume enters my nose and I groan and turn the other way. Ok so Netflix wasn't gonna work so what about music. I guess strumming a guitar could help.

As a kid I was forced to do things because my mom wanted to simulate my mind so I learned to sing, play piano, ukulele, guitar and I taught myself drums. I grab my acoustic guitar from its stand and pick at it.

I knew so many songs but only Billie songs flew into my head. I was a fucking mess wasn't I.

"Ok Riley we are going skateboarding so get up" I shout and Riley comes running in. "But Kennedy and I are gonna hang out" she says and I pout. "Yea alright I'll see if she wants to join" she says and I jump up and wrap her in my arms. "Thank you" I say and she kisses the top of my head.

Kennedy arrives later with her skateboard and I give Riley one of mine. She wasn't the best skater but she could ride still. I lock the apartment behind me and we take off cruising down the street. "You owe me food" I hear Riley shout from behind me to which Kennedy shouts, "just ride and shut up".

We arrive at the park and Riley sits on a bench as we ride around. She's a little upset since she fell a few times but she would get over it. "Alright if I can ride down the slide and land it then you buy lunch" I tell Riley and she cocks her eyebrow. "Alright bet" she says and I climb up the playground to the swirly slide.

"You're an idiot" Riley shouts and I smile at her. "I'm not an idiot I'm just a risk taker" I shout back and Kennedy and Riley pull there phones out. "Alright let's do this I want lunch" Kennedy says and I take a deep breath in and dip in.

It starts smoothly until I turn and slip off the side. I crash onto the wood chips and groan in pain. "Holy shit are you ok" Riley asks and crouches down next to me. "Fuck she's bleeding" Kennedy says and I sit up a little dizzy. "Im good I'm good" I say and crack my back.

I stand up and stumble a little before looking at my elbow. "Man I split it" I whine and Riley smacks the back of my head. "I told you not to do that you idiot" she says and I laugh. "Well looks like I owe us some lunch girls" I say and we take off.
