After the movie we had said are goodbyes and headed back to the apartment. It was my first time back after what happened but Billie made sure to distract me.

We were laying in my bed just talking about anything and everything. No matter how much we talked we still never ran out of things to say. It could be good or bad we didnt care as long as she was cuddled up next to me.

"And it just spewed out of my mouth all over the teacher" I say and mock vomit with my hands. "Oh my god" Billie laughs and holds me tighter. "Everyone laughed at me and I was so embarrassed" I say and she kisses the top of my head. "Poor baby" she says and I peck her lips.

It was ten something and we were planning on staying up the whole night and doing stupid shit so we can see the sunrise for Billie's birthday. "Cmon how about you tell me your most embarrassing moment" I say and shift in the bed.

"I dont have embarrassing moments" she says and I scoff. "Pfft ok Ms perfect" I say and sit up. "Where are you going" Billie asks and I pull my shoes on. "Cmon I wanna take you somewhere" I say and grab two skateboards. "I can't skate baby you know that" she says and pulls her shoes on.

"I'm gonna help you and you can't wear those" I say and toss her a pair of my vans. "No I will not be seen wearing vans" she says and I smirk. "Well no ones gonna see us baby and you can just bring your shoes with you but if you're skating you're not wearing expensive ass shoes. Mine have holes in them" I say and she groans and pulls the shoes on.

I grab a backpack and throw her shoes and my skateboard in it along with some cash and a hoodie. "Cmon" I whisper and pull her by her hand. I make sure the rings are in my pocket before we head out and I throw my keys in the bag.

"Alright get on" I say and she crosses her arms. "I'll hold your hands baby, I'm not gonna let you fall I promise" I say and she grabs both my hands and gets on. I place her feet in the right position and pull her along the sidewalk. "This doesn't seem so hard" she says and I smile. "Oh yea, wanna try it then" I say and let go of one of her hands.

"No" she says and grips my hand tightly. I laugh and pull her again and she smiles ear to ear as I start running with her. "So where are we going" she asks as we cross a road. "Somewhere that means a lot to me" I say and she hops of the skateboard and I carry it under my arm.

We intertwine fingers and she kisses my cheek as we walk through the night. "You think Taco Bell's open" I ask and she grabs her phone. "Yea they should be but let's get food on the way back" she says and I agree.

We arrive at a small park and Billie's face brightens up. "You remembered" she says and I giggle and pull her along. It was the park we met at for the first time and it started are friendship. We run over to the skate park area and sit down on a ramp.

I set the bag down and set Billie's skateboard on the floor. "Alright let's teach you" I say and she walks over. "Hey how much trouble can we get I for having sex here" she asks and I cross my arms. "Land a trick and we'll find out" I say and she gets on the board. I grab mine and get on so I can show her basic shit.

"Alright so to push you want your left foot on the board right here and you wanna push yourself with your dominate foot which would be your right. And then you just place your foot on the back" I say and demonstrate. I ride back to her and hop off my board so I can catch her if she falls.

I teach her how to push and how to turn and she gets really good at it. I even got her to land an Ollie which I praised her in many kisses to her cheek. Now we were laying down in the middle of the skatepark and staring at the stars. I check my phone and smile. "Happy birthday baby" I say and peck her lips.

"Thank you beautiful" she mumbles and pulls my head down. We makeout for a few minutes before I pull away and run to my bag. "What are you doing" she asks and I grab her ring. "Getting your gift" I say and she stands up. "Baby I told you not to get me anything" she says and I walk over and smile. "I know but I love you" I say and fix my shirt.

I get down on one knee and she raises an eyebrow. "Billie eilish pirate Baird O'Connell I know we are to young for marriage which is why I'm not asking you to marry me but I love the shit out of you and I want to spend everyday with your cute ass so will you accept this promise ring" I say and open the box.

Billie's eyes widen as she looks at the ring and she nods. I stand up and stick the diamond ring on her ring finger and she throws her arms around my neck and leans in. I hold her waist and kiss her rougher as she pulls on my hair. "On the ground now" Billie mumbles in my ear and we pull away.
