They're Back!

Nya's POV

We got Cole's urgent text telling us to meet at the hospital.  We grabbed the kids and left.  I haven't been out of the monastery in five years.  Cole didn't tell us why we need to meet there.  I hope nothing happened to Kai on their mission.  I already lost Jay, I don't want anything to happen to my brother too.  We arrived at the hospital to see Cole and Kai in the waiting room.  If Kai's alright, why did Cole want us to meet here?

Seliel ran up to Cole with their kids, Mason and Harper, and Skylor ran up to Kai with their kids, Zeke and Juliet.  "We got your message," Seliel told Cole.

"Yeah.  What's going on?" Skylor asked.

Cole and Kai walked up to me and Britney.  "Your families will be reunited," Cole said.

"Wha-what do you mean?" I asked, starting to tear up.  The only way for that to happen would be if Jay and Lloyd came back to us.

Kai hugged me.  "We found them," he said.

Everyone was shocked.  "How is that possible?" Zane asked.

"Why do you think we've been going on so many missions these past five years?" Cole said.  "We never gave up looking for them."

I started sobbing in Kai's embrace, but these were more of happy tears.  I look over at Britney who is trying to hold back her tears to be strong for Max.  Max knows better and starts hugging his mother.  Justin and Alex join in the hug that Kai is giving me.

Seliel hits Cole's arm.  "What was that for?" Cole complained.

"For not telling me that you were putting yourself in danger to find your friends," Seliel said angrily.  "I would've understood!  Why couldn't you tell me the truth?!"

"I didn't tell you the truth because with the kind of things that I did with Kai, it was better for you not to know.  I didn't want to put you or the kids in danger."

"What kind of things did you do with Kai?" Seliel asked curiously.

"Uh..."

Kai interrupted Cole.  "Did anyone tell Master Wu or Misako to come here?"

Cole facepalmed.  "I knew I was forgetting someone."

"What about Jay's parents?" PIXAL asked.

"Aw man!"  Cole turned to Kai.  "Next time, you notify everyone."

A doctor walked out and went over to all of us.  "Ninja!  I am the doctor that has been overseeing your friends."

"How are they?" Cole asked.

"They're both dehydrated, malnourished, have several cuts and bruises with some even being infected, broken ribs, concussions, fevers, but...they are awake now."

We all realeased breaths that we didn't know they had been holding.

"You can see them now," the doctor continued.  "We have them in a shared room just down the hall."

"Thank you doctor," Kai said.  The doctor nodded and walked off.

"Nya, Brit, why don't you two take your kids and go see them first," Skylor said.  "We'll join you after we get Master Wu, Misako, and Jay's parents notified."  She glared over at Cole and Kai, which I do agree that they deserve it for not calling Lloyd's uncle and mother.

Britney and I take our kids with us as we walk down the halls.  We find the room the doctor directed us to and opened the door to see Jay and Lloyd in hospital beds, sitting up, and looking at us.  There was a lot of stuff hooked up to them included IVs and heart monitors.  I just couldn't believe that they were alive and I don't think Britney could believe it either.
