Huh. I need Wesley, check.
I like him, check.
He liked me, check.
But, like I've ignored him for a week now. I also made him leave my house. He probably hates me.
I can't have him hate me after all this time. I have to win him back.
Hm. What do I do?
Oh. I have a draft of an idea. Like, he gave me marshmallows and letters and was quite old school for our first date. I could be old school to win him back and answer him.
I know just what to do.

WESLEY

Cassie has ignored me for a week now. I went to her house, she didn't wanna see me. I think I'm falling for her. Who can't? She's just perfect with imperfections.
I just want to see her again. I don't care if she wants to be with me or not so long as she is there.
I was on my way to kitchen for a glass of water when the bell rang.
I beelined for the door and opened the door.  Thhere stood a man in his twenties. He had a parcel in his hands and a nonchalant look on his face. He looked at me, and gave me the parcel. I did the formalities and took the parcel in.
I am opening it right now.
There is a box in with books, a lot of them. Their spines form a message for me. A message that says the person is sorry and yes.
Yes?
For what?
I look around and see a note.
I open the note and see who the note is from. I gasp, very girly I know.
The note is from Cassie.

Dear Wesley,
I'm sorry for ignoring you for a week, for shutting you out. My parents divorced and  with that came with a fear in my heart. That fear didn't allow me to be with you but you know what? I don't care. I don't care what happens. I'll do what I want and get it. I want to be with you and I will be with you. Too cheesy? I know. I didn't answer your question that night and so my answer is there in those books. Wes, I like you very much please don't break my heart. I'll wait for you today at the same place and time  we first met.
Love,
          Cassie

I read it twice and thrice a grin forms on my face. I look at the time, but I have no time!
I grab the car keys and run to the car. I drive faster than I ever have and head towards 'Marshmallowing our ways'. Cassie is standing at the entrance with a hopeful look on her face and two milkshakes in her hands.  I sneak up behind her and, "Boo!"
She jumps backward and knocks me over. We both fall on the floor with milkshakes soaking us wet and marshmallows (surprise, surprise) in our hair. We look at each other and laugh. Laugh and laugh and laugh.
"That's exactly how we first met!", I say between laughs.
She looks at me and nods genuinely. She looks happy for I have come here. Really happy.
"So. What do we have on the list today?"
"Well. Um. First I want the answer of whether I'm your girlfriend or not..."
I stop and think for a second...
Do I want her as my girlfriend? More than anything.
"Wait. Lemme reframe my question. What do we have on the list today, girlfriend?"
She looks at me again grins ear to ear, take my hand, leans forward and kisses me.
Did I ever say that the kiss we shared on giant wheel was the best? I hope I didn't because this one is the sweetest kiss I've ever experienced. It has a taste of marshmallow and chocolate. Both of those define Cassie in the perfect way- tender, sweet, dark and bright.
