Chapter 8

'I like you'

Y/n's pov

"You're taking me, to where you ate with your life long crush?" The girl besides me asked.

We had already sat down at a private room with a closed door. I got lucky enough to be here, I really don't like it when there's many noises surrounding me.

"I'm paying aren't I?" I shot back and she shrugged nodding.

"But still.." She whispered and I chuckled at her reaction.

"Are you jealous?" I tried to be more confident about our friendship, as I would like to call it. I should be more open and daring if I would want to change.

"Are you teasing me right now?" She said and I could feel my heart jump a little. Okay now that's new.

For a moment I couldn't talk or move properly. My brain stopped functioning, and all I could do was stare into her eyes.

"If you want to play games.." Rosé grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me aggressively close to her. "I will win."

The two doors opened and Chaeyoung had already let go of me and acted like nothing happened. I saw the waitress who lead us here earlier asking if we were ready to order.

"I'll have a Club sandwich with fries." Chaeyoung smiled at her and I couldn't even function properly from what just happened.

I said my order and ordered a bottle of wine to go with it. I'm a little bit hungover but with what I just experienced? Give me 10 bottles then.

There were literally no more space between us and I felt her arm constantly brushing up against mine.

"Hey, can you move?" I asked clearly flustered about how close she is. My heart can't stop beating fast and I might just die from feeling like a wreck.

"Why? Making you nervous now?" Chaeyoung asked teasing me once again. I moved to my left so we weren't so close anymore. I suddenly felt the need to be close to her again.

"Getting tired of me already?" she asked and tugged on my hand. She let it rest on her lap while looking at me directly.

"No.." I mumbled. I was just scared of what I'll say if I don't control myself around her. I might be pissed or feeling something else.

"Are you surrendering yourself to me?" Chaeyoung gasp. "Can it be that you can be tamed?"

I rolled my eyes embarrassed and took my hand away from her touch. I opened my phone and scrolled down to my message trying to ignore Chaeyoung's teases.

I have a message from Mina just a few minutes ago.
