Chapter 37

'A night in the park'

Y/n's pov

"I had fun today." Chaeyoung said as we all go back to my car.

After that one store we went to dozens more. While doing that, me and Taehyung escapee one time to go to an arcade which we had been caught in less than 30 minutes of fun.

Chaeyoung had to pull mine and Taehyung's ear away from the consoles and claw machine. It caused a lot of kids in there to laugh and take a picture of the scene.

"I'm glad you had fun." I said and kissed the top of her head making her chuckle and hold my waist.

"I'm still not happy that you paid for all these." I brought up a few shopping bags that she bought. Yes, sadly I didn't get a chance to slip in my card for all of it.

Chaeyoung laughed. "You don't have to buy everything for me you know."

"Yeah you can buy for me Y/n! I'm still your bestfriend!" Jennie shouted and I laughed shaking me head. I can't believe they heard that.

"Not a chance Jen." I talked backs she just frowned and we came at hault on my car.

Me and Chaeyoung went to the very back, while Sooyoung, Jennie and Lisa sat on where we were earlier. Taehyung drive and Mina on the very front.

Taehyung asked on where to go first and I decided that we should go to a park to end our day. It's close to dark and it's a nice weather to go to. It's very windy as well.

Chaeyoung was sleeping on my shoulder the whole way there, I'm guessing that she's tired from all the nonsense shopping.

The whole drive was quiet except Taehyung and Mina talking at front. They keep making small talk and Taehyung making Mina laugh or smile.

They couldn't see it but I had a glare the entire ride. Falling out of love my ass. It's clear to me that I didn't lose feelings, instead seeing Mina laugh with someone else just confirmed my emotions towards her.

I just need to block it tomorrow and probably tonight. I'm going to keep seeing her everyday now that we've reconciled. Everytime I have the urger to look at her, I will just close my eyes and scold myself.

It's for the better, I have Chaeyoung who I keep getting closer with day by day. Mina and I were clear that everthing is in the past, even that conversation in the closet spaced room the day of the shooting.

"Y/n..." Chaeyoung mumbled only for me to hear, since she was breathing down my neck and sleeping.

Is she having a dream? I ignored her callings knowing she is still in deep slumber. I looked out the windows and just now realised I missed driving around Seoul.

The tall buildings, cars wanting to tear my head off for passing them on the intersection, pedestrians who always had the gut to yell whenever I almost hit them. God, the audacity.
Don't they know I would've hit them If I wanted to?

"Y/n..." She once again said in a low tone and held the collar of my shirt. I checked to see if she's awake and she is. She just opened her eyes, looking around.
