therapy // all time low
she crossed the street and passed the coffee shop on the corner.
the winter breeze sent a chill down her spine. only a few weeks ago, she was decked in her shorts and tank tops.
hardly noticing her surroundings, being lost in her own little world, she entered the gates of the park. birds chirped and landed in flocks around her as she bustled past them.
she was so caught up she didn't even notice his black and blue doc martin's in her path and collided into his chest.
"watch your step," he warned.
"I'm so sorry," she whispered, turning her head away from him and continuing to walk.
footsteps trailed behind her and she realized he was trying to catch up with her. her petite ballet flats sped up in an attempt to get away.
"hey, wait up!" he called, grabbing her shoulder.
instinctively, she yanked her shoulder away from his touch. he noticed her eyes widen and her body tense up.
"don't touch me," she spat.
"I'm sorry, you're really cold," he noted. "I just wanted to apologize for being rude back there," he laughed softly.
she sighed and closed her eyes slowly.
"oh, that's alright," she tried to turn and walk away but he stopped her again.
"my name's luke."
"that's nice," she nodded her head, looked down and kept walking.
he watched after her, taking in how her heels never touched the ground. she walked with her arms crossed and a slight limp. he couldn't deny he found her pretty.

hi, so this is a little story idea I just came up with and I understand it's short but it's meant to be like that and the lowercase is for a reason.
