i'm sorry to everyone waiting for ' STAY HIGH ' , I want to mention my inner turmoil about prettymuch and although I love their personalities + some of their music, I am not the person to be constantly following drama which is something they have been experiencing lately. my lack of motivation adds to my unwillingness to work on this book right now.
I know they have mentioned that they are coming out with music soon and I am hoping that I fall in love with their voices again or it fuels my creativity to write, but as of now im just not focused on this book or this group and as of always I excuse myself from dramatic, overwhelming situations.
i'm sorry if this upsets you, or if you felt attached to this book or these characters and I hope that I could 180 and fall on track.
but if you have nothing to read or you want something to do or even if you thought I updated please consider taking this time and this moment for this movement.
I have heard people tell me that the protests are dying down and people dont post about it as much, but that is bullshit.
black lives matter and as an ally I say it with my whole head and heart. I mourn, rage and demand justice. But as a human being, I take breaks to process everything and educate myself on, not only history, but present day tactics embedded into our systems used to suppress black lives.
As a minority as well, I rise against the white supremacy happening in the united states and I stand with all minorities who were never given the opportunity, whether it was to live or to learn, because of their complexion.
