Scarlett Curtis:

I'm sitting in a booth all by myself in the Dingo with four cokes in front of me. I called Lizzie this morning from the phone in Buck's bar and asked her to meet me at the Dingo with Avery and Pony at twelve.

I need to talk to someone about everything that happened last night. I was going to ask Dally what the hell all of that kissing was about but he was gone when I woke up and Buck didn't even know where he ran off to.

So now here I am sitting in the Dingo in my liquor stained tank top with my dirty jean shorts as I wait for the three of them to get here. I know that they won't judge me about the events that took place last night and I know they won't tell anyone in the gang.

The gang can't know or I'd be done for. I mean the kiss probably meant nothing to him anyway and for the gang to know would just be stupid. I would be lying if I said it didn't mean anything to me. I'm just telling myself that. We all know how Dallas Winston is, we all know that the kiss meant nothing to him.

The bell dings which means someone has walked in. My head turns quickly in the direction of the door and my lips form into a smile when I see my two best friends and my baby brother. I slide across the booth and walk over to them fast.

Pony was the first to see me, his eyes lighting up and his arms outstretched. I smile brightly as I wrap my arms tightly around my brother. I really did miss them for the night I was gone.

"I was so worried about you," Pony admits as we pull away from each other. "I thought you weren't gonna come back."

"Hey, I ain't ever gonna leave you, baby brother," I say as I ruffle up his hair. He groans in annoyance from the nickname and swats my hand away from his head, making me laugh.

Avery and Lizzie watch us with smiles before I'm pulling them into the a tight group hug. We all laugh as we squeeze the living hell out of each other. We all pull away smiling at each other before we walk over to the booth.

I slide back into the booth with Pony sliding in next to me. Avery and Lizzie sit in front of us and instantly grab the cokes I got them, making Pony and I laugh.

"What?" Avery asks with an innocent smile. "It's hot as hell out."

"Well maybe because it's summer," I say with a sarcastic smile that makes Avery roll her eyes and Lizzie and Pony laugh.

"I did not miss you bein' a smart ass," Avery mumbles as she takes a sip of her coke. I laugh and punch her arm lightly from across the table. I turn my head to see Lizzie and Pony staring at me, waiting for me to explain what went down, and when I turn my head back toward Avery I see her making the same expression.

"A lot happened last night," I admit as I hold my hands up in mock surrender. "And I trust the three of you the most with this information."

"You were with Winston, weren't you?" Lizzie asks with a smirk, making me go wide eyed as Pony and Avery laugh and nod their heads in agreement.

"Okay yeah! Fine, I was," I admit making the three of them squeal with excitement, yes even Pony. "But I had a good reason too."

"And what is that reason?" Pony questions. I take a deep breath knowing that the rest of the story will shock them.

"I got booked," I admit shamefully, my voice barely above a whisper, as I stare down at the coke in front of me.

"What?" The three of them ask at the same time, all of them yelling. Some people shush us and others give us dirty looks for being so loud. I look up to see three pairs of shocked eyes staring at me, waiting for answers.
