TWENTY - NINE

I woke up with my eyes both sore. Urgh! I hate crying before going to sleep! Ginawa ko na din ang morning routine ko and decided to wear glasses. Pagkababa ko ay wala ang mag-aama ko.

Asan sila?

"Daddy! No! Help! " I heard Penny screamed and followed by a laughter. Sinundan ko ang tinig at natagpuan sila sa swimming pool na naliligo. Nasa leeg ni Elliot si Penny habang si Luis naman ay inalalayan ni Elliot.

"After niyong mag-swimming, maligo na kayo ha! " I said, causing the three of them to look at my direction.

Penny waved at me. "Hi Mommy! Good morning! "

Luis swam near me. "Morning Mommy. Why are you wearing sunglasses? "

I smiled at him. "Nothing. I just want to wear my favorite sunglasses. " I lied.

"Morning, baby! " napatingin naman ako kay Elliot at nakita kong naka-ahon na sila ni Penny. "You can swim on the kiddie pool, kids. " sabi niya sa mga bata.

Nang naliligo na ang mga bata sa kiddie pool ay tumingin siya sa akin. "Where are you going? "

"Shopping? " patanong kong sagot.

He eyed me, doubting my answer. "Shopping? " he asked me.

I sighed and rolled my eyes. "Okay, fine! I'm going to meet Celine. "

He creased his forehead. "And why are you meeting her? "

"I'm gonna talk to her. I'm gonna confront her. I'm gonna scare her. There. " I answered seriously.

He massaged the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes. "Please don't do anything bad, baby. "

I laughed at his reaction. I cupped his cheeks and gave him a smack kiss. "I'm just gonna make her guilty, Lee. "

He opened his eyes and raised his brow. "Are you sure? "

I nod my head. "Yes. " he kissed me again.

"I gotta go, Lee. Baka saan na naman mapunta yang paghalik-halik mo! " natatawa akong lumayo sa kaniya.

"Yup, you better go now. " he chuckled.

Tumingin naman ako sa mga bata. "Mommy's gotta go, babies. Magpakabait kayo sa Daddy niyo, okay? " they both nodded their heads.

"Bye, Mommy! " Penny shouted.

"Take care, Mom. " sabi naman ni Luis at pinagpatuloy na nila ang kanilang pagligo.

Binalik ko na ang aking tingin kay Elliot. " Bye, Lee. "

"Bye, baby. " he kissed me once again before I can finally go. While I was in my car, I searched for Ced's number.

I dialled his number and after a few rings, he answered. "Text me her location. "

[Hey, Asia. Whose location?]  He answered in low tone.

"Your desperate sister's address. " I answered.

He sighed. [Please, Asia. Don't put my sister in prison. I'm sorry.]

I let out a sarcastic laugh. "I'm just asking for her address, Ced. If you want me to forgive you, you should atleast tell me what I want. "

He sighed once again. [I'll text you her location, Ace. Check the kid for me. Edward's not there every morning, he's working.]

"You can count on me, Ced. " sabi ko at pinatay na ang tawag.
