"Baby, you have to say goodbye na. " pagpupumilit ko kay Luis.
"But Mom. " he look up to me and pouted.
"I have to go home, little guy. " natatawang ginulo ni Elliot ang buhok ni Luis na naka-kapit sakaniya.
"Luis, we can't sleep on Daddy's condo unit. Why are you so annoying? " Penny's forehead creased and pouted her lips.
"Hey that's bad, Penny. Don't speak to your brother like that." pinaningkitan ko siya ng mata.
She bit her lower lip. "Sorry, Mommy. "
Kailangan na kasing umuwi ni Elliot sa condo unit niya. Hinatid niya naman kami sa dating condo unit ko. Hindi pa ako nakapag-pagawa ng bahay kaya dito muna kami titira. Hindi ko naman muna pinapatulog ang kambal sa condo ni Elliot kasi may pupuntahan din kami bukas,ipapasyal niya ang dalawa at kasama ako tsaka siya din naman nagsabi na bukas siya madedesisyon kung saan titira ang mga bata na kasama ako.
"I promise to take you and Penny to the park tomorrow, right? " wika niya kay Luis.
"And Mommy, right Daddy? " komento naman ni Penny.
Tumingin sa akin si Elliot bago tumingin muli sa mga bata. "Of course. "
"Told you! " she exclaimed to Luis.
"Babies, could you please go inside? Your Mommy and I will just talk. " paki-usap niya sa mga bata.
Penny kissed him on the cheek before pulling Luis away from Elliot. "Let's go, Luis. "
Hindi pa sana bibitaw si Luis pero pinilit siya ni Penny hanggang sa wala na siyang magawa kundi sumunod nalang sa kambal. Natatawa ko silang pinagmasdan hanggang sa magsalita si Elliot.
"After ng pasyal natin, doon tayo magdi-dinner sa bahay. " bigla ako sa kaniya napatingin.
"O-okay lang sayo? " tanong ko.
"Oo naman. Gusto na makita ni Mom at Dad ang mga apo nila. " sagot niya.
"Is Trini there? " tanong ko ulit.
He raised a brow. "It was supposed to be our family dinner, but I want to give them a big surprise. "
"Am I the big surprise? " I bit my lower lip.
He laughed with full of sarcasm. "No! Ofcourse not. It's their grandchildren, whom you took away from us. " he then become serious.
I swallowed the lump in my throat before speaking. "So-Sorry. "
"You should be, Asia. " he said with a cold expression on his face. "After leaving me, waiting for your explanation that night. You should be sorry. "
My visions went blurry. "I'm so s-sorry, L-Lee. I'm sorry for leaving you that night. That night, I--" I sobbed when he cut my explanation.
"Save your explanation for tomorrow. I enjoyed my day today, I don't want it to be worst. " he said, still with a cold expression.
"Explain it to me tomorrow night. Let's see how worthy your explanation is. " he said before turning his back against me and started to walk away.
I covered my mouth to stop myself from sobbing. Tears freely flow down on my cheeks. If it's not because of me, being a coward. It would not lead into this situation. If only I explained to him what really happened that night. I grab my hair in frustration.
Oh God, help me.
