Calm Before The Storm (8)

Spencer's POV
We got out of the house and walked to the local coffee shop it was about 15 minutes away so I knew we wouldn't be out long. We decided to bring Apollo since he was still a bit hyper.

"Do you know if you have any surgeries tomorrow?"

"I'm not too sure I don't have any scheduled surgeries tomorrow I just have a couple of meetings and some files to fill out I also have the trials to study more. What about you?"

"I just have desk work to do and you know if a case pops up."

"Oh, so that means you're free tomorrow night?"

"I mean I don't have anything planned except that I will probably be too busy spending time with Apollo."

"How rude you're not going to spend it with me, I was thinking we could have a scary movie marathon or we could watch Doctor Who but it seems like you are going to be too busy spending time with Apollo."

"I can move around plans I'm sure Apollo won't mind if I move plans around plus Id rather spend time with you than a dog."

We arrived at the coffee shop and I held the door open for her.

"How about you stay out here with him and make sure Apollo is ok with moving your plans around while I go and get us our coffee and before you ask if I know your order yes it's engraved in my brain." She smiled and walked inside.

I looked at Apollo and he looked back at me

"That's the woman I'm going to marry and no you are not going to be my best man even though she would probably like you to be part of the wedding."

While waiting for Eliza and the coffee I got a phone call it was J.J.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

"No yea everything is fine we don't have a case so don't worry you don't have to come in nut I thought I should call and let you know that we heard Blake resigned and Hotch called Emily to see if she wanted to come back and work for the B.A.U. again and she said yes so she should be coming in tomorrow to start working with us again."

"That's amazing, I cant wait to see her. How do you feel about it I mean the last time you saw her was two months ago."

"Yes, I'm so excited to see her alright well I just thought I would let you know ill let you go now, bye."

"yea alright bye J.J."

Eliza returned with the coffee and handed it to me.

"Thank you, so I have some good news."

"your welcome and please tell this good news."

"J.J. called me when you were inside and told me that since Blake had resigned Hotch had called Emily and asked her if she wanted to return and work for the B.A.U. again and she agreed so she should be coming in tomorrow," I told her

"that's great, I'm pretty sure J.J. missed her and so did the rest of your team."

"yea I was wondering when she was gonna come back and I'm sure morgan was too. Should we head back?"

"Of course"

We headed back to her apartment.

"So I know this is going to sound weird but one of the meetings that I have tomorrow is with the chief and word is going around the hospital that someone may be leaving and transferring to another hospital and we don't know if it's going to be attendings or residents but it most likely going to be a but its most likely going to be one of the attendings but they haven't said anything but I don't want you to worry because its most likely going to be some other attending but I just thought I would let you know." She said.

"Uh... well I wish you would've told me sooner but that's ok just let me know how your meeting goes tomorrow."

"Well of course and I didn't let you know sooner because I wasn't sure if it was just a rumor that was surfacing the hospital but now I know it's really because the chief had confirmed it."

We all got to her apartment and settled in I figured that I would just sleep at her place and take the bus in the morning since she left earlier than me and I had some clothes at her house so it would work out perfectly fine.

Elizas POV
"Ok so I know it's late but are you staying here I'm just wondering that way I know if I need to be careful when I wake up so that way I can be careful not to wake you up."

"I think I'm going to stay the night here that way it's easier and since it's late we don't have to go out driving again."

"Yeah sounds good."

"Ok well, I'm going to take a shower."

"Ok"

After Spencer went to take a shower I got ready for bed and got another one of my books and clothes out that way I when Spencer got out of the shower I could jump in and get ready for bed.

Spencer came out of the shower and sat on the bed I got my clothes and headed into the restroom. While I was walking by the bed Spencer grabbed my waist and pulled me down on the bed with him.

"Dr. Reid, I have to shower, what are you doing?"

He laid on top of me and started to kiss my neck and hide his head in the crook of my neck. I moved us that way I was on top of him instead of him being on top of me.

"Not today Spencer, I have to shower and get ready to go to bed."

I kissed his lips and then the tip of his nose and walked off into the restroom.

I went and took a shower and got out and changed into some new clothes. I walked out and saw that Spencer was reading a book now and he was under the covers. I went and sat next to him and kissed his cheek. He put his book down and turned off the lamp by the bed. I laid down and Spencer put his arm around my waist.

"Goodnight Eliza, I love you"

"Goodnight Spencer, I love you too."

The next morning I woke up and Spencer's arms were tangled around me. I carefully climbed out of bed making sure to be careful to not wake Spence up since he woke up around 5:00 he still had an hour to sleep so I figured I would let him sleep. I went into the restroom and changed into my scrubs, brushed my teeth, and did my hair I  went into the living room and got my backpack ready for the day which consisted of my laptop, chargers, water bottle, and a change of clothes. I went back into the bedroom and kissed Spencer on the cheek he only moved onto his back. I got my coffee from the kitchen and headed downstairs I had left Spencer a note saying that he can use my car because I was just going to carpool with AJ. I walked down the stairs and saw that AJ was waiting for me I hopped in the car he began driving to the hospital.

Spencers POV

I woke up and noticed that Eliza had left for work so I got up and changed and went into the restroom to brush my teeth and fix my hair I went back into the bedroom and saw that there was a note I picked it up and read it all it said was that I got to use her car today because she was going to be carpooling with AJ. I walked out of the bedroom and went into the kitchen and saw that she left a cup of coffee for me I took the cup of coffee and walked out of the apartment taking Apollo out to use the restroom before I left for the day. After I took Apollo out I took him back into her apartment and grabbed my bag. I went out the door making sure to get her car keys and making sure to lock it. I walked down the stairs and got into the car and started to drive to work. I was honestly excited to see Emily I hadn't seen her since she came back when J.J. got kidnapped and tortured. I knew that the rest of the team would enjoy having her back.
