What Love Looks Like

Love has come by in many different forms now, each one having qualities that feel right but never quite complete. So what does Love look like? Love is someone who will spend hours on the phone, talking the night away, or simply sitting in comfortable silence. Every once in awhile Love asks what I'm doing or reassures me that she is still on the other end, not going to leave until we both decide to end the call. Love has eyes that hold galaxies in them, eyes that draw me in and keeps my focus. Love watches anime with me, discussing our favorite ones and always ready for the next episode. Love cosplays with me, dressing up as characters together, several of which are from our favorite shows. Love goes to cons with me and isn't afraid to show up to random places afterwards still in full cosplay. Love sometimes plays videogames with me, when she's not playing Love watches me play. Love may sit in my lap as I game, laughing sometimes from the string of curses that I produce. Love will calm even the worse of my anxiety, always finding a way to get me to relax. Love pushes me towards my dreams and reassures me that she's there every step of the way. Love may sing and dance around, acting silly to make me laugh. Love will help with my problems but will also come to me when somethings wrong, Love lets me know when she needs someone. But most importantly, Love will be herself. Love will not change for people, she only changes to make herself better. Love is kind and sweet and caring, she can be protective but a chaotic entity. She can be stubborn and hot-headed but isn't afraid to show that she can be soft. Love also has her own interests, some that we do not share. Interests she is passionate about and will talk to me about them, I would listen to her. Love is someone who is finally right for me.
