Poison

The dark eyed girl lays in the grass staring up at the sky. Thinking of the person who seems to invade her thoughts, he came into her mind and never left since. Reminiscing about the old days where she had everything she ever wanted. The late night conversations and texts that made her smile and her heart beat faster. They promised they could do this for forever. Or at least until they drank the poison because she saw some cloudy weather. People infested her mind with the worst until she broke, now she holds her tongue when around them. A new person has him mesmerized while the girl silently dies, but she will never say anything. She stares up at the moon and lets out a shallow breath, she just wants him to be happy even if she's not.
