{Two Weeks Later}

You and your five other friends sat around the living room eating snacks and drinking. It was the weekend, Louis's favorite time of the week.

You and Louis (well mostly Louis) wanted to do a little function with friends at the loft. He can't wait to host a possible Friendsgiving next month too.

Clementine, Aasim, and Louis's girlfriend, Violet, were there. Aasim even invited a friend of his named Ben Paul, who the group was okay with seeing.

The six of you were already pretty buzzed from the drinking, and just talked about things.

You: You won't believe this guy. He tipped over his dad's grandfather clock once when I was over his house. He balled his eyes out thinking he was going to get his ass kicked.

You were telling the story of a time you went over Louis's house when you were little.

Louis: My dad didn't kick my ass, but he sure gave me the silent treatment for a while. Not even when I asked for lunch money....I would've rather taken the beating.

Aasim: You would've rather him beat you than not talk to you? For what? A few days?

Louis: I want you to imagine the dinner table with me and my dad....you could hear a cricket from across the city with that silence.

Louis then began to think of the times with his dad, he would trade anything to have him there again.

Louis: He was a good guy. I loved him....

Suddenly, his smile disappeared and he threw his bottle at the wall, where it shattered.

Violet: Louis! Jesus, what the hell?!

He ignored her statement and took a deep breath in.

You looked at Louis, feeling sorry about the pain he's been feeling.

Louis: Sorry....uh....

He looked around, and went to a drawer beside the couch. He took out a stack of cards. Aasim took notice immediately.

Aasim: Oh boy....

Louis: Up for a game of war, anyone?

Clementine: We haven't played that since junior year.

Louis: Is there a better time other than now?

You: I could probably think of a better time....maybe an even better game.

Louis: Hush now, child. Let's go on over to the dining room.

You sighed, and all of you went into the dining room to sit at the table.

Louis: You guys should know the rules....how about you, Ben?

Ben: Isn't this the game where the highest card wins?

Louis: Bingo! But there's an Osborn twist to this. Highest card gets to ask the lowest card a question....and that person also has to take a shot.

You: What the hell? We never took shots.

Louis: Sorry, Pastor L/N. Didn't think you were still in high school.

You chuckle.

Louis starts handing out cards, and the game begins.

You flip your card for the first round. The highest card belongs to Aasim while the lowest card belongs to Louis.
