After Zan left to the Academy, Spring started her routine with a little difference. Due to her brother's insistence they have their nightly chat everyday. The charm Autumn made was really a godsend.

It's been two months and yet her brother never missed their nightly chat despite of his now very busy schedule. He still wanted to talk to Spring and check her well-being.

"Kuya Zan don't you have assignments or other tasks to do? Hindi naman sa ayaw kitang makausap, but I'm worried about you Kuya." Spring asks her brother.

"That's why I'm talking to you every night for almost two months Spring. One of these days ay maguumpisa na ang practical exams namin. I'm afraid I won't have much time to check up on you. Kaya habang may panahon pa I will make sure that you're okay kahit na wala ako dyan para maprotektahan ka."

"I know that Kuya, but please I also want you to have focus on your studies."

"Wala ka bang tiwala sakin Spring? You know I'm currently one of student representatives despite of me being in 5th year?" Pabirong tanong ni Zan.

"I do know my strengths and weaknesses. And I know I can't focus when I'm worried about you too much." Spring cannot help but smile at this.

"I also know of your weekly report from Autumn, Kuya. Wala ka rin bang tiwala sakin?" Zan laughed at this.

"I love you too, my little sister. Please be careful and always stay safe, okay? I need to go now."

"Masusunod Kuya Zan. Ikaw din Kuya, stay safe. Good night." Paalam ni Spring bago nito ideactivate and communication device  sa hikaw nito.

Spring lay in her bed with a sigh. She knows the reason why her brother is so paranoid is because of Autumn's speculations. Hindi din naman kasi ito malabong mangyari.

Since the incident in their little community and the lack of response and investigation from the royal government, there's a high probability na matataas na tao and noble people ang may kagagawan ng nangyari.

Spring is not much into revenge but if there is something she can do to avoid incidents like what she have been through to happen to other people, she's very much happy to help prevent such things.

Autumn did warn Zan about the incident happened to them that killed their parents, the hunters that attacked Spring's now familiar and the bulk buying of combination of herbs and stones to be connected somehow. And thus, made Zan the paranoid brother that he is.

Two months have passed and yet the unknown threat is very much unresolved.

This actually made Autumn antsy. Both her and Spring have been researching about possible spells or rituals that has something to do with the little facts and speculations they have. But so far, nothing is plausible.

Spring take a one last look at her sleeping familiar with a worried look before finally, fall into a restless sleep.

It was the insistent and loud banging noise that have woken up Spring.

Spring take a look around her surroundings to gather her wits. Nothing seems to be amiss, she's still on the old stable on Vroj's family land.

Pagkatapos nitong ayusin ang sarili upang kahit papaano ay magmukhang presentable, Spring opened the door to her temporary home.

"You filthy scum! Victoria was right! There's seems to be some pests currently residing on our land." An old woman with a disgusted look on her face shouted at Spring.
