It was a nightmare.

Well.. it was more like a bad kind of deja vu for Snow as once again he felt helpless while chained up inside a cage with engraved sigil to prevent him from escaping.

It was more than a decade ago when he was also taken by the same band of hunters, but Snow remember it clearly. He remembered how his pack, his family was brutally taken and murdered for power.

It was one of the reason why he never thought that the one who will save him from running and hiding, again and again was also a wizard.

Snow and his pack used to live in a snowy mountain terrain at an unclaimed land. It was a land between Wizard Town and a land that was claimed by the fae bloodline.

His pack of mix wolf and mythical wolf beast have never had any problems with the fae since their race is all about balance of magic and making sure the power in their land stays pure and not tainted with blood.

If only everyone and every creature is smart and good like that.

So during a festivities after a successful hunt before the winter, ang pamilya na kinalakihan at kinagisnan ni Snow ay inatake ng walang kamuwang-muwang.

Their instincts were too haywire because of the fulll moon and the successful hunt. The warriors and protectors of the pack tried to do their best, but in the end they were overwhelmed by the hunters use of forbidden magic and tools.

The most heartbreaking part for Snow is that everyone was killed. No one survived, even the young innocent pups are massacred right in front of him as the hunters chain him up with chains dipped in poison and engraved with sigil he cannot break.

He was once again taken against his will and this time it was her bonded wizard who they tried to kill.

As a young pup, when he turned out to be a mythical creature, his ancestors taught him all the things he need to learn and do as a bonded familiar. He also learned the ways of being a protector, not only of his future bonded but also of his kin and their pack.

But in the end, his pack was brutally murdered and now his bonded is injured. It's once again because of him.

In the short time he have spent with his new found pack, he cannot help but to be grateful to each one of them.

Spring, his kind bonded was a wizard with a beautiful soul and her very caring nature is what really attracts him to enter a bonded deal with her.

Autumn depite of her weirdness is a smart girl who is very responsible and capable, he really like that about her.

Zan who may always seems so absent is a caring person. He never question his sister for he trust her. The two siblings loyalty to each other is admirable even to him.

He's grateful for all of them, to share a pack bond to them even for a short time.

But this doesn't mean Snow is giving up. No. This is actually the reason why now he is fighting.

Before, when his pack was murdered, his reason to keep on going is his ancestors and elders teaching of him to find, bond and protect his bonded as a familiar. Now that he have a bonded and a new pack, he will make sure to be their protector for a long while. As long as his bonded will accept him and live.

"Autumn, I know you wanted to help Spring to find and save her familiar but from what I see, this is not a rescue mission, this is both of you going to war." Mr. Hwang told her daughter with a judgmental and disapproving tone.
