Sage also took me Prom dress shopping and she helped me fix it in a few places to fit my skinny figure.
Tristan dropped his jaw and stressed that stern look of his when my dad opened the door to reveal me. He was dressed in a tux and man did he look really hot.
I wore a simple light pink, a-line halter high neck tulle with a rhinestone beaded upper half.
I blushed as Tristan's eyes traveled up and down my body. He gave me a beautiful red rose corsage and I was able to pin his boutonnière on his tux successfully for the pictures.
"You look beautiful tonight, Jasmine," he whispered into my ear before giving me a peck on the cheek, the only public display of affection he's ever given me in front of my dad.
"Drive safe tonight." My dad said. Sage smiled and kept squealing at Tristan and I. I slipped on a black coat that was way too big for me then Tristan led me to his truck. He opened my door then swiped me off my feet. I giggled as he lifted me into my passenger seat.
"Woooo!" We both blushed at Sage's outburst. My family was watching us.
We got to the dance and I found Miley and Hannah right away. Miley was wearing a two piece and looked absolutely gorgeous. Hannah was in a nice flowing dress and I couldn't help but notice some weight lose. Sam was all dressed up and allowed her to hook her arm with his. They both looked like they were having fun. At least Hannah was until Tristan and I came up to them.
"You look nice, Jazz," Sam complimented. Tristan smiled down at me and I smiled in return.
"She does doesn't she?" He leaned down and kissed my cheek. I blushed and nervously smiled. "You look very nice as well, Hannah," Tristan complimented his old computers partner.
Speaking of that. I was now Tristan's partner and he was the best partner I'd ever had. I mean, I did have to convince him to not stare at me all the time and to get to work. We did the projects together equally and since he was over almost every night, we got our projects done quickly and were able to watch Netflix in class while everyone else had to work.
Hannah blushed but didn't smile. "Thanks." She bluntly said. Tristan sarcastically smiled at her then he grabbed me by my waist and led me away from Sam and Hannah. Sam seemed confused and I felt bad. Screw Hannah. Tristan got her a date and that's all she can say to him actually complimenting her. I know I didn't say anything to Sam when he complimented me but I at least smiled.
"Okay, these are the rules," Tristan let go of me and placed his hands on his hips. I gave him a curious look and folded my arms. "One, I don't dance. But I'll slow dance with you only during slow songs. Two, you can't leave my side. I want eyes on you at all times. Three, as soon as you get tired, we go."
"What about dinner?" I smirked.
"I thought we could enjoy a nice meal of ice cream at the shop." I laughed and he looked embarrassed.
"Tristan, you're so cute and silly." I stood on my tippy-toes and strained my neck to kiss him. He still had to bend down a little but he got a taste of my lipstick.
There were only two slow dances and I was a little upset whenever Tristan stood brooding not wanting to do anything else. I myself danced like an idiot with his friends' dates. They knew who I was but they didn't hold anything against me. One of them was a cheerleader and her name was Lizzy. She was super nice. We exchanged Snapchats and Instagrams. I couldn't wait to have a new friend.
