(Y/n)'s POV

"Must you bother while I'm trying to enjoy a novel??"

It appears that all good things must come to an end, and in this certain scenario, it was Grey'a sweet side.

"Why would you want to read such repetitive, boring work? Wouldn't you much rather come to visit my estate with me?" Grey asked, his movements erratic like a child's as he swung about on my bed frame.
"We just visited your estate last week! And it was much more boring than Pride and Prejudice if I do say so myself," I pointed out, looking between him and my book as I turned the page, "besides, I'm much too comfortable in my pajamas, and I intend to remain as such for the rest of my weekend."
"You'd really rather read a silly old book than go out horseback riding?" Grey asked, baffled at my choices as he leaned against my bed.
"I'd rather be reading a novel than doing any activity with you any day of the week. Maybe if you weren't such a nuisance, I'd want to do things with you," I confirmed, seeing the dissatisfied look on his face from the corner of my eye and having to stop myself from laughing at it.
"You're no fun at all. All you ever do on your weekends alone is read," he mumbled moodily, sitting on the end of my bed with one foot rested upon the other knee.
"That's not true," I countered, looking up from my book, "I've also been made to cook food for you on many occasions. I also like to tend to the garden, though you're incapable of appreciating such an activity."
"I am not incapable!" Grey protested, sitting up properly and crossing his arms.
"Then why don't you come out and garden with me today? I bet you a cake that you won't enjoy it," I wagered, turning the page of my book once again.
"Well, you might as well get baking now, because I know for certain that any activity with you is enjoyable," Grey chirped, my cheeks heating up a little but I hid that factor with an eye roll as I closed my book and placed it on my bed side table.
"You're getting better at fake sweet talking Grey, I'll give you that," I sighed, his sweet smiling morphing into a cheeky one as he got off of my bed and headed out of the room, most likely to change into something more garden appropriate than his white and very stain-able uniform.

It wasn't exactly my plan to garden that day, but if it would keep me at home instead of going to the Grey estate then I'd happily do it. It was a great pass time, I wasn't complaining.

"You look like a little school boy," I teased, taking in Grey's garden attire as we stood just outside of the Buckingham palace, toward the beautiful gardens that came out of one of it's sides.

He wore a short sleeved brown dress shirt with a yellow crisscrossed vest on top, accompanied by some brown shorts and black combat boots. And to top it all off, a cute straw sun hat.

"I do not!" He spluttered, his face flushing red as he took in my own attire, "and besides, it's not like you can say much yourself on the matter."

The boy wasn't wrong.
