A/n: I'm honestly sooo sorry for not updating for a really long time, but a really cool thing just happened to me and I just. ooooooh I'm literally so happy.

So I mean the story is that I pretty much came off of my ex-girlfriend with a rebound crush, this cutie I'm gonna call 'V', and I ended up hanging out with him and his group a lot and we became friends. But in that group is my childhood friend, who I'm gonna call 'M', and for some whack reason I always felt so drawn to him, like I always wanted to talk to him and hang out with him and I'd always compulsively touch his arm. Then, after a whole freaking school term of this, my best friend is like "so, you and M huh?" and I'm like "what" and she's like "man I know you have a crush on him you don't need to hide it it's so obvious" and then I was like "wait. I have a crush on him?" And in that moment I thought really long and hard, turned back to my bestie, and was like "oh my god. I do have a crush on him. It's always been him."

A few weeks later I got to hang out with him and his best friend, who became one of my best friends too (I'll call him 'B', and my best friend is 'D'). Me, M, B and D got to hang out in town, eat together and stuff. Then we walked D home and M's dad picked the rest of us up and we hung out in his shed. We played ping pong and pool and shit like that, then we were just sat on the floor playing floor ping pong and they were talking shit about themselves and how girls would never like them, and I accidentally went "If only you guys knew" and oh my god the looks they gave me. I said that because D also had a crush on B. They actually full on fucking interrogated me, found out B's crush but obviously I lied to them about M's since it was fucking me.

Then, I went home and compulsively told M that it was actually me. At first he told me that he had a crush on me at the start of the year but moved on because he thought I just wanted to be friends. And when I tell you that killed me. But over the next two days, he said he thought really hard and decided that he wanted to give us a shot.

AND OH MY GOD ITS BEEN TWO AND A HALF MONTHS AND THIS BOY IS LITERALLY THE BIGGEST SWEETHEART EVER AND LIKE FOR ME BEING HIS FIRST GIRLFRIEND HES DOING A PRETTY DARN GOOD JOB.

AND THIS BABY FOR REAL PLANNED A HUG WITH ME BC HES VERY SHY WITH AFFECTION AND IM JUST LIKE. AHHHHHHHHHH. SWEETIE YOU CANT GET ANY CUTER I LOVE YOU.

Anyways, now that I've explained my absence, here's the next chapter. Enjoy!

(Y/n)'s POV

Seeing a rain-drenched man tied up in ropes to prevent his moving about sent a wave a nausea over me, and I felt my face becoming warm and my chest tighten around my heart and lungs as well. Actually, the cause of my body's actions were due to something else, but at the time I was under the impression that it was because of the fact that there was in fact an actual murderer walking about the manor that Lord Phantomhive didn't know about and that he had been caught.

"W-wait! Who is this man?? Could he really be our killer??" Mr. Woodley asked with sweat beginning to bead on his forehead, Lau smirking as he stood up and began walking over to the old man.
"So you reveal yourself at last. You denizen of the shadows, doer of dastardly deeds. I must admit, even I'm a bit surprised," he dragged on, placing a hand on his wet shoulder, "so, who are you anyway?"

Everyone deflated immediately in annoyance when he said that, Lord Phantomhive mumbling something which caught the old man's attention.

"I believe the Earl can tell you," The man said in a gruff yet gentle voice, the Earl staring at him for a moment before he sighed.
"Been a while Jeremy, how are you?" Lord Phantomhive asked in a flat tone, to which Lau looked between the two for a moment.
"Another surprise. You know this old fellow, my Lord?" Lau asked, the so-called Jeremy turning to the Chinese man slightly vexed.
"Old, is it?" He repeated, Lord Phantomhive sighing once more as he held a hand out as to motion to him.
"Yes, indeed I do," he huffed before turning to everyone else, "This man is the Vicar Jeremy Rathbone."
