A/N: completely unrelated to this part of the story but I was just listening to 'Two Princes' by Spin Doctors and for some reason Grey and Phipps as the princes came to my brain and y'know what, I'm making that a fucking story now so uh.

Here's the song if y'all don't know it:

Anyways, maybe I should ask y'all another question to get to know you better. This chapter's question:

What's your guys' favorite band/s/artist?

Mine right now is Type O Negative (rip Peter Steele)

I'll put a song of theirs in the next chapter, but until then, enjoy :)

(Y/n) POV

"...what the devil is going on in this place??"

"...how dreadful..."

"Well this is a shock I would have never expected."

"W-whatever will we tell the young master...?"

Speak of the devil, and he shall appear.

As if on cue, Lord Phantomhive came to the door of the room we were in, as though he had been running like his life depended on it. I could see his pupils visibly shrink as he took in the scene before him, and even though us two butler had committed the murder, we couldn't help the looks of shock that came to make home with our faces.

...That...wasn't how he was lying last night...was it?

I was thoroughly freaked out, though I knew I couldn't show it. But there was no harm in being a little shocked, everyone else was, so I'd be able to blend in just fine.

Arthur's POV

I took in the view of the butler's bloodied body with a sick feeling in my gut. Why on earth would someone do this? What would be the motive of killing a mere servant? All of this was just beginning to make less and less sense, considering the difference in status between the victims...so far, at least.

I looked around at everyone else's reactions, hoping to see if I could pick an odd one out. They all harbored shock to their features, but something about the Queen's butlers' stares were just...different. It was almost as if they were confused. I shook the suspicion from my mind of them quickly though, perhaps they were already onto thinking about possible motives and were getting no where, like I had momentarily.

I watched as Lord Phantomhive took two heavy steps toward Sebastian's body before the maid came and hugged him from behind, trying to keep him away from the body while also trying to keep her own tears at bay. When he didn't comply, the gardener came over and tried to help too.
