"C-Coming!"

A little girl wearing a maid costume opened the door of your bedroom, accidentally stumbling into Beatrice's room.

"Oh, sorry."

Beatrice looked away from a book she was reading to see the little girl, Petra. Beatrice looked irritated, but she always looked like that so it didn't matter.

Beako: "Close the door, I suppose."

Petra: "Sorry again!"

Petra closed the door, then opened it again to see you resting on your bed.

Petra: "Did you need anything, Master Y/N?"

Y/N: "You calling me Master makes it feel like I'm doing something illegal. Anyways, I just wanted to see how you were doing?"

Petra: "I'm doing great! There were a few things I knocked over... and broke... and put into places they weren't supposed to go... but I'm doing good so far!"

Y/N: "That's great!"

Petra: "Um, you want me to bring you something, Master Y/N?"

Y/N: "No, its... you called me Master again."

Petra: "I just wanna make sure I'm doing a good job so you can treat me like a grownup, I mean, an adult!"

Y/N: "Sure. It'll take some time though. I'm still not used to seeing you run around as a maid. You'll become a grown up in ten years though, so don't worry."

Petra: "I'm not that young, I'm fifteen!"

Y/N: "Last time you said you were twelve."

Petra laughs nervously, being surprised that you remembered that.

Petra: "I'm gonna turn thirteen!"

Y/N: "When's your birthday?"

Petra: "Next year... Ooh, I know, I'll bring you a glass of water!"

Y/N: "That's alright. I'll go, I need to stretch anyways."

You stood up, stretching your arms and legs and getting ready to go out for a walk.

Petra: "Come on, let me be helpful, master!"

Y/N: "Stop calling me master and I'll let you. But for now, I will go out to... think."

Petra: "Let me come with you! I could protect you!"

Y/N: "You are very persistent with doing something for me. What happened? Did someone threaten you or something?"

Petra shook her head, getting closer to you and smiling, pushing her hair behind her ear.

Petra: "No, I just want to spend some time with you! And if you say no again, I'll get mad!"

Petra pouts, trying to be threatening by showing her angry expression.

Y/N: "Angry Petra is adorable, so that doesn't work."

You ruffled her hair and walked to the door.

Y/N: "But if you wanna come with me, then I cannot stop you."

You smile.

Petra: "Right!"
