Elizabeth's POV

I awkwardly sat between Alex and Jason. I sighed. Why did I have to finish so quickly? Now I am stuck between the troublesome twins. One was busy texting his friend on his phone and the other just kept on staring out the window, sometimes staring at me. I sighed as I caught one of the twins glancing at me briefly before smirking. He texted on his phone to another friend... probably about me this time. I shifted and stared into space for a few minutes, until one of the twins shook me roughly.

"Hurry up, Elizabeth!"

I awoke with a start and stretched a bit. I noticed the same twin who awoke me staring at me with darkened eyes. I shivered slightly and got out of the car. I groaned as the blazing sun stared into my face and tried to shield my eyes. I was in Florida now... sun, I don't think I like you very much. I sighed once again and walked behind the White twins and their mother.

I must have not noticed where I was walking because I was supposed to be going to register myself, but now, I was on the ground in pain. I glared at the person who bumped into me since it was probably Jason or Alex, but my frown turned into a smile as I saw a friendly teenaged girl like myself. She helped me up as she apologized.

"I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed again.

We were now at the main office where the office lady was now getting my paperwork for the courses and contact information. I shook my head in reply to the girl.

"For the last time, I'm okay. Just a little bump won't kill me..." I said, smiling at the girl.

She was my first chance at a real friend around here and I couldn't blow this up. I stuck out my hand and we shook hands politely.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Elizabeth. What's your name?" I asked.

"Nice to meet you too, girl! I'm Selina," the girl said. "Oh, and I'm going to feel bad about bumping into you so I'm going to have to go something to make up for it... Hmmm.... I know! I could treat you to lunch on your first day!"

I grinned and nodded, eagerly accepting the offer. It was a secret way of saying that we would be friends now. Also, I'm always in the mood for some food!

"Deal!"

"Ok, honey! You're stuff is ready. Just fill these all out and bring it back on the first day of school. I'll give you your schedule then," the office lady said.

I thanked her and started to leave.

"Wait, I need your phone number or else how are we going to keep in touch?" Selina exclaimed.

I walked back and we both exchanged numbers before I left and waited with Mrs. White for the twins to finish their practice time.
