So I've decided to write Lilly's story from her first appearance after the 40s.
We had a mission, well the winter soldier had a mission I just accompanied him in case he became injured, not that, that was a regular occurrence. It wasn't just to heal him, it's also because I refused to let him go anywhere without me, he was my family and I would endure the countless amounts of torture before I let him go.
My arms were gripped tightly on either side as I was dragged out of my cell and into the room where they'd try to reset my brain. They didn't do it often because it didn't last long on me and the more they did it the faster I could fight it. "Accompany the soldier and keep him safe." They were the only words spoken to me.
I barely knew who I was, my name was Lillian and I had two brothers one called Steve and one called James my brothers were dead and a man named Howard took me in, that was really it that's all I knew, the longer I was here the more I forgot, I just hoped the day would never come when I forgot my brothers they were the only thing that kept me grounded here.
I was shoved into the chair, my arms strapped way too tight but it wasn't like I could complain besides what I was about to go through was way worse than tight shackles. A man roughly grabbed me by the hair pulling so tight I thought my hair was going to fall out, he lifted my head back and then roughly shoved in a mouth guard. I tried to bite back my screams but it was futile being electrocuted didn't tickle it hurt, a lot.

"Do you know your mission soldier?" I looked into the eyes of the man before me with a dead stare of my own and nodded, accompany the soldier and keep him safe. I was escorted to where he was waiting for me, his eyes softened once they landed on my significantly smaller frame and he nodded at me. That was as warm as we got.
I teleported us to the destination that I was told to and the stayed by the soldiers side as he went for the target. The target managed to escape and it was our job to find him and make sure he was gone for good. I didn't take out targets like the soldier did he I had the training but he refused that for me, he would do it all himself, he didn't want to dirty my hands.
We found the target fairly quickly he was at an apartment, with a friend the soldier took care of him and then we ran, "disappear." He told me I nodded and turned myself invisible per his command. The targets friend chased after him desperately, I paused for a second on the roof, this man he looked familiar.
I didn't have time to deliberate on it further as he chucked his shield at the soldier who caught it easily, and threw it back with force which disoriented the man, in his moment of distraction I ran forwards to the soldier and teleported us to safety.
He looked down at me and ruffled my hair, "good job little one." He praised before we had to report back to the boss.

A few days later and another mission only it was two targets this time, the previous targets friend, the blond man and another a woman. I had kept the information of finding the blond man familiar to myself I didn't need to be electrocuted again.
"Come on shadow, stay close and out of sight, you only fight if necessary." I nod we had this discussion every time we left. I sit in the car that trails the soldier as he jumps onto the targets car, he gets flung off but he's ok, he lands gracefully and gets back to his job. Their car is destroyed by him and three people tumble out, the third man was not a target but if he got in the way then he would have to be eliminated with the rest.
I kept my distance as I watched the battle commence, I stayed invisible until the backup was taken out and then I helped the soldier by fighting the red haired woman, she was strong, the fight was even I hadn't overpowered her and she hadn't overpowered me until the soldier put a bullet through her soldier then I stopped fighting her.
Instead I turned myself invisible and watched the soldiers fight with the man with the shield. It was a good fight both as strong as each other I wanted to intervene but I knew not to, I would be a distraction the soldier could handle this, he didn't need me.
At one point the blond man pulled the soldiers mask off and I inched forward as I realised the look of recognition on his face. He knew the soldier, I must've known him somehow this was too much of a coincidence. "Bucky?" He asks in shock, as the word leaves his lips I feel a wave of pain go through my head as my brain forces me to remember. That word was important to me for some reason, it held meaning and my brain was trying to bring the memory up.
I clutched my head as the pain spread I was fighting whatever had been done to me, and I remembered, I remembered the limited knowledge I had on myself, my name was Lillian I had two brothers, they were dead... I had two brothers and one was called Steve. One was called Steve, this man in front of me it was Steve.
The soldier disappears after they shoot at him, he probably thinks I'm in the clear but I'm not, I'm stood right where he; was staring at my brother, my brother who died.
I turn myself visible and watch the three adults tense. "Stevie?" I ask holding my hands up as the red headed woman hold the gun up at me, he looks to me curiously, until I remove my own mask, his eyes widen more if possible, "Lillian?"
