Chapter 7

They left to go and catch the bad guy leaving me behind again, I didn't mind it though, it felt nice not having to go on missions, to do normal things, like a normal person. It may have been a bit boring but it was peaceful at the same time.

I was enjoying that peace, well until something went wrong, I'm not sure what it was but I could feel that Steve was in trouble. I teleported myself to him, to find Thor and Nat down as well. "What happened to them?" I ask Clint as I crouch down beside my twitching brother, "this little witch she messed with their minds." My eyes brows furrow as I notice the state of them, I'd seen this somewhere before I just couldn't remember where.

Shaking off thoughts from the past I help Clint get the others into the quinjet, Tony bringing Bruce shortly after. "What're you doing here kid?" I shrug, "I felt something was wrong." He nods and moves past me as he slumps down out of his suit. I look over at the three who were still out of it and decide to try something. I crouch down in front of Steve, put my hands around his face and let my green mist leave my hands as I try to heal his mind from whatever had been done to it.

He shoots up into a proper sitting position his mind better but not perfect, "what are you doing here?" He asks noticing me, "I could feel that you were in trouble." He nods, "thank you." He says referring to pulling him out of his mind, I shrug and move over to the next person. Thor was way easier to help, his mind was a lot stronger, it was probably because he was Asgardian.

He thanks me and then I move over to Natasha, she was really, really out of it, even after I healed her mind she was still shaken, "thanks kid." She tells me sending me a soft smile as she tries to hide her feelings from me.

I ended up just healing the rest of the team from minor injuries as well since I was bored and Steve was too in his feelings to say no, I really want to know what had happened to them, I was worried, I'd never seen them like this.

I ended up falling asleep against Steve as Clint flew us to somewhere as the avengers weren't supposed to go back to the city, when I woke up Steve was carrying me and we were walking to some farm house. He lets me down and I follow them in.

"Dad!" Barton picks up his daughter as she comes running towards him, "These are...smaller agents." Tony says as we watch Clints son say hi to him, his daughter runs over to Nat and they hug.

"Sorry for barging in on you." Steve says to Clint's wife who smiles at us, "Yeah, we would have called ahead, but we were busy having no idea that you existed." Tony adds looking to Clint, "Yeah, well Fury helped me set this up when I joined. He kept it off SHIELD's files, I'd like to keep it that way. I figure it's a good place to lay low." Clint says as his daughter comes up to me.

"Hi I'm Lila." She smiles making me smile back, "I'm Lily." I tell the younger girl, "our names are similar." She giggles making me smile softly. "You're really pretty." She tells me shyly, "not as pretty as you." She beams, "do you wanna play with me?" I nod, "sure." I nod letting her take my hand and pull me away.

Turns out Fury was here, he was supposed to be taking Bruce and I back to the tower, "hey little lady, glad to see you're up and running." He says once he spots me, "it's nice to see you again." I tell him making him chuckle, "alright come on." I nod before I glance towards Steve who was leaving with Nat and Clint, I know I shouldn't have but I couldn't help it, I turned myself invisible and teleported into their jet after Fury was too far to turn back.

I follow after Steve after he goes to check on the doctor, we find her pretty badly hurt and bleeding out. After Steve leaves to try and get the cradle from Ultron I turn myself visible and crouch down. "Lillian, what're you doing here?" She pants, "I'm here to help." I grin healing her before saving anyone else who could be saved in the office.

I managed to find Steve with two familiar faces, "The Cradle, did you get it?" Wanda asks, as soon as my eyes had landed on her and her brother it all fell into place, that's why I recognised what had been to the team before, it was Wanda, it was her powers.

I had missed what they had been saying as I was recollecting the past, "Wanda? Pietro?" I ask turning myself visible, "little flower? You're alright." Pietro grins lifting me up as I run into his open arms. "We've been worried about you flower." Wanda says grinning at me.

"Lillian you know them?" Steve asks me confused as he looks between us, "yeah we... were experimented on together." During the experiments Wanda and Pietro kinda took me in, Pietro was especially protective he said he saw me as a younger sister, like how Wanda used to be.

"You know him?" The twins echo the question towards Steve, "he's my brother." Both of their eyebrows raise as they glance between us. "Uh anyways you guys need a ride?" I ask interrupting  the awkward tension as the twins stood across from my brother and both parties stared each other down.
