Chapter Two:
False SuicideFALLON WAS IN LUCK when she found out that Alexei Volkov only lived an hour away from her current destination. She didn't understand what it was with HYDRA agents and small towns. She would have assumed they would live in bigger towns to blend in easier, but then again maybe that's why they did it. It would be predictable for them to live in a big city like Los Angeles, or Denver. These two were smarter than the other agents were anyways, that's why their treatment was ten times worse for Fallon.
Fallon pulled up to the mans house, taking notice of his car being missing. She smiled. This gave her many many opportunities, she just didn't know which one she wanted to pick. She sat there in the car, her fingers tapping against the black steering wheel as she pondered over her decisions. She made sure to pull the vehicle around so that it wouldn't be spotted when the man arrived.
Fallon exited her vehicle and popped open the trunk. She pulled out a thick rope as well as a razor blade. She looked between the two before finally deciding on the latter. She wanted to see him bleed, and a false suicide was always the way to go. Fallon slid on some gloves before grabbing a different blade that didn't have her fingerprints coating it. She gently stuffed it in her pocket, being extra careful not to cut herself. She put the rope back inside and closed the trunk as quietly as possible before making her way to the back of the house.
Fallon looked at her surroundings, making sure there were no witnesses. She searched for any signs of camera's, any sign of someone looking out their window, she looked for everything and when she was absolutely positive no one was watching, she kicked her foot hard into the back door, watching in satisfaction as it flew backwards, slamming against the wall but staying attached to the door frame. She could've easily picked the lock, but every once in a while Fallon liked to be dramatic.
Fallon ruffled her red hair as she closed the door behind her. She walked through the small two story home. She looked around in curiosity before going up the steps. There were only two rooms on the second floor; a bedroom and a bathroom. Fallon slipped her phone from her pocket to check the time. It was almost midnight. Fallon assumed that Alexei would be home around one so she decided to wait and make the bath for when she would place his body in it.
Fallon skipped down the steps out of boredom before she made her way into the living room. She turned on the television, particularly the news. A rerun of what Natasha Romanoff had said days prior to what happened with the S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA incident. Fallon, having not watched it yet, cocked her head in curiosity and turned up the volume.
"Do you solemnly swear to tell the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth?"
"I do." Natasha answered the man. Fallon couldn't help but narrow her eyes at the screen as the redhead spoke. Apparently, this is the person Fallon was made to beat. She was supposed to better than the infamous Black Widow as well as the Winter Soldier. Fallon couldn't help but want to test that theory.
