"What theme were you thinking of?" The booked wedding planner asked, her high pitched voice bugging me, ringing in the back of my ears.
"Well we were either thinking baby pink or midnight blue" I smile, flicking through the catalogue.
"Midnight blue would look perfect. And your thinking of standard midnight blue tie and midnight blue bridesmaids?" She asks, writing down everything.
"Yeah." I say distracted by the beautiful themes in the book.
"So bridesmaids and best men... Who were you thinking?" She asks.
"Bridesmaids I wanted Iona, Kylie and Ruby, my sisters and niece, and I wanted jess to be my maid of honour" I nod.
"Right. And I presume Daniel will be choosing best men?" I cringe at Dans full name.
"I believe so... DAN!" I yell, before I see dan scurrying out from his room.
"Yes my love?" He asks, leaning on the door frame.
"Best men?" I ask, tapping my fingers on the table.
"Phil, Pj and Chris" He says, crossing them off his fingers.
"Thanks babe" I smile, blowing him a kiss. He walks away, after blowing me a kiss back.
"Now I have that done... Any special requests ?" She asks, my head snapping up from the stuck in Polaroid pictures.
"Actually I had something quite specific in mind. I had always dreamed of getting married in a beautiful field in the summer. My dress would be flowing in the warm summer breeze, with a pretty flower crown in my hair, my feet bare and a line of chairs up to the flower arch where me and Dan would exchange our rings and ki- Yeah I'd like to get married in a field in the summer" I nervously say the last part, realising my ramble had gone on long enough.
"I think that's enough for me to work with" She smiles, shutting her notepad. "Now this is a long process, and will take a few months, which is useful because you want the wedding in summer. See you next week" She smiles. Sighing, I lean back in the chair, and smile to myself.
"Are you done?" Dan asks, coming back into the living room from our room.
"yes. I don't see why you didn't want to be involved, it's your wedding too" I say, wagging my ring in his face.
"Because, your good at planning stuff, and I'm not. So I figured you would want to have control" He smiles, taking my hand in his, and kissing it.
"Yes, but what if you don't like one of my ideas, it might ruin the whole wedding for you" I frown, wrapping my arms around his torso.
"I love everything you do" Dan whispers, placing a soft kiss on the top of my head.

*6 months later*"Wow. That's everything sorted Erin" Henrietta, the wedding planner said, shutting my ever so favourite wedding book.
"Thank you so much, I could have never done this without you" I sigh, enveloping Henrietta in a warm hug.
"Your welcome. And thank you for inviting me too! I'll be sure to bring the family" She winks.
"Ahhh, I can't wait to have children" I coo.
"There cute for about 3 seconds. Trust me, you get no sleep for at least a year" she breathes.
"I don't care, I just want a little girl to play dress up with, and a little boy Dan can play football with in the garden, I can already see how perfect it's going to be" I smile to myself.
