The exam was a success, Kirishima Ejiro came second place on the entrance exam and Naiya could not have been more excited, they celebrated like any other teenager and century old genie would do and spent all night playing games at the arcade
Kirishima stood in front of the Genie, dressed proudly in his uniform, it had been so long since she had felt so heart warmed, despite the prison she was held in, helping her masters grow was the best part of her job
Only those pure of heart could truly benefit from Naiya's power, she was more than just a wish granter, she was a companion, a friend

"Naiya, Naiya are you crying" the red head boy stared at the young Genie who clutched one of her many rings, this one resembling a blue beatle "my unforgotten King" she whispered bitterly, before turning to meet her master patting down his blazer and straightening his tie "no I am not, I'm just so proud you've made it this far" she grinned
"Are you sure, your okay"
"Of course, that smile of yours, just reminded me of something, it made me emotional, this isn't about me, it's about you, i couldn't be happier"
"That scrawny, unconfident, anxiety filled boy is gone, now stands before me a man ready to chase his dreams" she wiped at her tears oblivious to the fact that they were falling to begin with "I guess you are going to forget about me now" she sighed
This normally happened, she'd help them fulfil their goal and be cast away without a second thought, what hurt the most was how long she spent bonding with Kirishima, learning his habits, likes and dislikes, it hadn't been like this since the reign of King Cairo, she was afraid after achieving his goal he would use all of his wishes in one fell swoop and she'd disappear again just like before
Naiya braced herself for that day, in those ten months she felt more alive than she has been in five hundred years, all of this would be taken away so quickly 'Kirishima has heart, no he is pure of heart'

The two stood outside of the large building, students slowly piling into the school as a new term began "I want to make a wish" he smiled making her bright expression falter "a wish" she knew that would happen, once again she hoped time would be different, she hated getting attached
"Really, a wish, this will be your first one Master Eji, without me pestering you" he bashfully rubbed the back of his neck "this wish is important so I need you to listen carefully okay" raising a slender eyebrow the magenta eyed girl curtsied "of course"Naiya stepped back "give it all you've got Master Eji" she yelled "I wish. ." He stopped briefly as sparkles began to ignite in her hands "get on with it Eji chan I'm curious" she spoke, her heart preparing to shatter into a million pieces once more
