Silent treatment.

I have been at Andrew's place for the last fifteen minutes and  he refuses to talk me.

"Babe am sorry " ,I confess realising the the reason he refuses to talk to me is because I didn't keep me promise of coming to see him yesterday.

Yesterday was a blast .Anna and I arrived almost midnight. The trip from grandma Elsa's place was tiresome. I can't believe I was behind the wheel for that long.We were exhausted and Anna had to crash at my house.We both woke up at midday and Anna offered to drop me at Andrew's place before going to her's .

"I said am sorry "

Andrew has been sitting on his couch pretending I don't exist.He hasn't altered a word at me.I have even tried to tickle him but it isn't work.

He is being a baby .why won't he listen to my explanation.

I sit on the couch opposite his  exhausted. I can't think of a way to make him speak.If this is his was of punishing me then it's working.

I hear Shawn's bedroom door open and I turn to see him approaching the living room.At least someone's coming to my rescue. I am one second from leaving this place.

"Hey Jackie "  he smiles at me  as he runs fingers in his hair .

" Hey " the keys to his motorcycle don't go unnoticed buy me.He is already going out.I wonder if it's one of his girl hunting trips.

"Do you mind telling me why Andrew has decided to play mute ." I question Shawn.
He chukles before answering.

" His girlfriend supposedly stood him up last night "  

He turns and heads to the kitchen.

I stand up and go sit next to Andrew , who is pretending to be busy with the T.v.
So this is it .
Silent treatment for something that I can explain. I mean we came back home late , there was no way I would come banging his door at that ungodly hour .

"Babe I said am sorry. We just had too much fun and I was tired.we came back home late and there was no way I could come."

"I swear it won't happen again. Say something please. You can't be quite forever "

Still nothing. I thought it's only girls who use this silent treatment.

Shawn comes back from the kitchen with a glass of milk in his hand.

"You can make yourself comfortable before your boyfriend decides to speak again  " he grabs the remote from Andrew's hand and changes the program before sitting down.

"Don't tell  you enjoying how he is treating me.This is not fair " I say to Shawn and he just smiles back.

I take a look at Andrew and he is so obvious of what's happening.

"Shawn are you going out ?" I ask him with a plan already in mind.

"Yeah .why  ?"

"It seems like am not needed here .If you don't mind , can you please drop me at my place "  I murmur winking at him .That's enough to make him understand that this is a plan to get Andrews attention.

"Cool .I can take you too your place , but that will be after I take you to Starbucks  you promised to treat me remember .we will have chocolate chunk cookies then try some other chocolate recipes "   he stands and places his glass on the kitchen counter.
Am delighted that he is helping me .If this plans works or not am still going to treat him at Starbucks.

I avoid making eyes contact with Andrew but Shawn's expression are enough to mirror his reaction.

This is going to work.
