CHAPTER 24: End

A few days after:

Nasa burol ngayon si Welnik, kasama ang kanyang mga kaibigan. It was a shame, but the doctors coudln't do anything, saying there were too much of blood loss.

"Sana mapayapa na siya." Sambit ni Kevy sabay lagay ng kanyang bulaklak.

"Sana nga." Welnik agrees, looking at the name written in front of them.

"I... couldn't even apologize to him. He was not that bad after all." Sheilah says with a pained look on her face.

"Hindi rin siya ganun kabuti, pero.. alam kong pinagsisihan niya na yung mga kasalanan niya." Callie smiles, though there is still a glint of sadness in her eyes. "O baka.. ito yung paraan para mabayaran niya yung mga kasalanan niya." She smiles again, "Dave, maybe this is our fate."

They remain silent. Everyone there knew, the color of fate is red.

After a week of Dave's death, maraming nangyari. The members of Addart turned theirselves in to the police, receiving imprisonment for 10 years. They also personally apologized to their victims' parents. And Andrea... she'll be imprisoned for 8 years.

Na-comatose si Korree at hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa siya nagigising. Dumating ang mga magulang niya, at pinalayas sina Welnik at mga kaibigan niya. Sabi ni Mrs. Bailey, kamalasan daw ang dala nila kaya't pupunta sila ng Japan after ng recovery ni Korree.

Bigla namang nag-vibrate ang cellphone ni Welnik mula sa kanyang bulsa. Kinuha niya ito at binuksan ang mensahe,

You, Welnik Ornea, passed the auditions. Welcome, new trainee.

We will be sending the other informations to your gmail account.'

Pumasa si Wlenik. Pero di niya alam kung anong mararamdaman niya. He's one step closer to his dream, but.. his heart still feels empty.

Nag-iimpake na si Welnik para pumuntang Manila. Mananatili lang ang kanyang nanay dito, habang sasama naman daw si Kevy sa kanya. 9 am ang flight niya at sa ngayon ay 5:30 a.m pa.

He's finally leaving this city, so before that.. he wants to atleast say his goodbye to Korree.

Hindi niya alam kung ano ang label nilang dalawa, pero para sa kanya.. isa siyang napakaimportanteng tao sa buhay niya.

Kumuha siya ng papel at ballpen. Nais niyang ibigay ang sulat kay Korree, but he doubts that Korree will be able to receive it. Kailangan pa netong dumaan sa mga magulang niya, but Welnik will still do it.

Actually, crush kita noon pa. Nung di mo pa ako kilala. Madalas kitang pinagmamasdan mula sa bintana ng bahay niyo. At jackpot na nga minsan kung nagpapahangin ka sa balkonahe niyo :D I couldn't believe that time I found out that we were attending the same school. I was panicking when you came to sit with us. But your attitude was unexpected. Hahahaha. Sorry. But as time passed, we became friends :) Nung pinili mo si Dave na pinakagwapo saming tatlo ni Kevy, tbh, I got uneasy. Seloso ko no? XD. When I found out that you were afraid of darkness, I started to look at you from a different angle. I looked at you as a girl that I should protect.

I got to know you more. And maybe because of that, and your dangerous smile, I fell for you. Minsan ay nagpapanic na ako kung tayo lang dalawa, specially nung hinalikan mo ako nung nagbrown out. Just by thinking about that, my heart goes crazy again. Tss. Ano bang ginawa mo sakin? Minsan, wala na ako sa sarili ko eh. Well, not that I'm complaining, though.

I was finally happy, when you confirmed your feeling nung umulan. You kissed me back. I couldn't believe it that time. That was a great moment. But things led to another, and now you're in coma. Dave is gone too. Sana maging okay ka na. I wish from the bottom of my heart.

I have a good news though. Tinanggap ako ni Manong Peldis, Korree. :D. I'm gonna be an idol in no time, pangako yan. At kahit ilang fans ang umibig sakin, ikaw parin ang magiging laman netong puso ko, Korree. Sana ikaw rin.

Inilahad ni Welnik ang sulat sa nanay ni Korree, nagmamakaawang iabot ito sa anak niya. Nang makaabot na sila sa airport, nagpaalam na si Welnik sa nanay niya, at di maiwasan ang presensya ng mga luha. Pati narin ang kaibigan niyang si Sheilah, na naiwang mag-isa, pero mabuti na lang ay nandun din si Callie, na tinuturing narin niyang bestfriend niya.

Nagpunta na sina Kevy sa Peldis Building. And probably because of Kevy's good looks, naimbitahan ding mag-audition ang kaibigan ni Welnik. And in the end, they both became trainees with 3 other members. And finally after 3 years of training, they debuted as the first ever P-pop group in the Philippines, 'Quartz.'

Kevy's stage name is his real name. While Welnik, who's still deeply in love with the girl named Korree, decided with the name 'Nikko.' Mainly because, "welNIKKOrree" if you understand that, and partly because it means 'sunlight' in Japanese. Meaning, he will be the sunlight to Korree's dark place.

"Tinry kong bumalik sa bahay namin one time, pero wala na ang Bailey family. I'm glad that Korree's fine now." Sambit ni Nikko sa mga kagroup members niya.

"A-ang sakit ah. Parang movie yung buhay mo Nik!" Sabi ni Shane habang tinatanggal ang mga di-totoo niyang mga luha.

"I don't know why, but I feel like I should say sorry. Wahhh!! Ako yung nag-initiate netong idea na to ehh.. sorryyy!" >~< Napatawa nalang ng mahina si Welnik dahil kay Mark.

"No need to apoligize, Mark."

"Pero di ko inakalang double meaning pala stage name mo Nikko." Sambit naman ni Drake, earning a shrug from Nikko.

"Well, so that was my story. I hope you enjoyed it, I guess? How do I wrap it up?" Ngumiti si Welnik. "The end, guys."
