Chapter 21

*Wednesday, at the airport*

Kai's POV

We just landed in Korea.

Yesterday, before going to the airport, I texted Yeonnie and the others to say that I'll be in Korea today at 5PM.

So they decided to come to the airport today.

We took our luggages and went through the crowd.

Suddenly, I heard a familiar voice.

"Kim Jongin!!!"

I turned around and saw Lee Yeon Ah. Yeonnie.

Haven't seen her 3 weeks, she looked different.

I don't even know why.

I saw everybody (including Park Jimin) and waved at them before going to them.

My heart poundered as I was walking towards her.

Will it be awkward?

"Hey bro." Chan Soo said, while we do a friendly bro fist.

We talked and a few moments later, we had to say goodbye.

"Goodbye guys~ see you tomorrow at school:)" I said.

Everyone was going away except Yeonnie and Jimin.

"Jongin-ah. Just wanted to tell you that you're with us for a project." Yeonnie told me.

"Huh? Really?"

"Yeah. And it's due for Friday. Do you think you can do it? We can do it for you if you want." She suggested.

"What? No-" Jimin tried to argue but got elbowed by Yeonnie.

I chuckled a bit.

"Nah it's okay. I'll manage. And.. by the way, I can drive you guys home if you want."

"No thanks. We're going back by ourselves. We live together anyway." Jimin said while dragging Yeonnie away.

She waved at me and smiled before leaving.

Live together? What?

I suddenly felt sad and uneasy.

Are they.. together? I mean.. a couple?

I looked at them fooling around while walking towards the exit door.

I sighed before walking away with my parents.

We called a taxi and arrived home later on.

Jimin's POV

Today's my birthday. I think that Yeonnie doesn't remember. Wait, she doesn't even know.

The hyungs were gonna hold a party for me but I didn't want to. I want Yeonnie to wish me a happy birthday first.

My parents called me to wish me a happy birthday too.

But..

That shit came back. I didn't want to come at the airport today just to see that punk.

But of course, Yeonnie insisted. So I had no other choice to come.

But we're now at home.

I feel that Jongin still likes Yeonnie.

I can't let him.

Yeonnie was showering while I was in my room, thinking.

I was deep in my thoughts when I heard a knock on my door.
